Not sure. There has been a bit of contoversy over the top 2 entries posting negative comments on other participants' pages and now another contestant has been accused of using her "celebrity status" as a TV personality to get votes for her bridal party. Oh, the drama. If those involved happen to get the boot, we have a good chance, so we are making every effort to stay vigilant and vote, vote, vote!! Apparently they have networks going at colleges, work places and have made pleas on several of their FaceBook, MySpace pages. The top 2 had been in a war of "typed" words on the contest site and posted many negative, rude comments on other contestants pages. My niece was a recipient of some of those comments. Just poor sportsmanship. The contestants involved were going back and forth with one another stating that the other was typing those remarks and using their opposition's name. There was begging and pleading to believe what each was saying was true. One even contacted the person in charge at Vera asking that the negative remarks be removed from everyone's page. Those comments have since been deleted. Such drama! I guess some people feel the need to win at any cost. Very sad. Anyhow, I hope you all continue to vote. You may do so once an hour from your computer. The contest runs until September 30th. The top twelve vote getters appear on the homepage - as of now my niece is #13. We are hoping to get to that homepage spot by midnight. It's now 3:44 PM EST. As of this post she needs 177 votes to move up. I would love to see her get to at least 1700 by midnight. We are a close knit bunch and one of my sisters (aunt to the bride) passed away so unexpectedly a month and a half before the wedding. It was extremely difficult to move forward with the wedding, but we knew that my sister would not have wanted anyone to postpone plans when she herself was so looking forward to the celebration of love and family. With great sadness that she could not be here on Earth with us, but knowing she was and remains ever present in our hearts, the wedding went on as scheduled. My niece and my daughter (Maid of Honor) handled everything with such courage and grace. I am so very proud of them. I appreciate your continued support. You guys are the best. Bet

It was a gorgeous day and they all looked beautiful. When my niece told me what color she'd chosen, I wasn't quite sure what she was thinking. I mean, chocolate brown for a June wedding?
