My friends and family think that I am nuts because I cant wait for BF. This is my favorite Holiday (at least it a holiday to me). The girls in the family all love to go now because its become a family tradition. We joke around and enjoy talking to people in line. I just love it!

Black Friday is my favorite holiday of the year(yes, its my holiday).My sisters and I find some great bargains then all go out to breakfast and then do more shopping. Its a time to laugh, joke, have fun, and great deals. Who could ask for anything more. Now the kicker - I was laid off for 9 months and I just started a new job. We have to work on BF. I have asked to either have the day off or come in later in the morning and I have not gotten an answer. I am so worried I have to work. Now I will be there if necessary but I will be so disappointed. So to all those shoppers out there who can relate please say a prayer that I can get off or go in late. I am really worried. I am glad and thankful to have a job but this has become a family tradition that I dont want to miss. Thank you for the prayers.

Several years my sisters and I decided to meet at Walmart because they had TV's on sale . We arrived at 4:00 am on black friday and the line must have had 200 people in it. We got into the back of the line and when the doors opened up it was like a marathon. People were scrambling in as if they were giving away money. We got inside the store and found the TV's. Well there was a little girl maybe 10yrs. old standing in front of the TV's(her back leaning against the boxes) with her arms spread out as far as she could holding back 9 tvs so no one else could get to them. It was like her parents put her in a combat zone. People were grabbing what they could but she was determined not to let no one touch those 9 tv's. Just them a sales person brought out another cart full of tv's so I did get 1 but I often wondered where were her parents. Was she a tv natzi? (LOL). Anyway as we got out to the parking lot with our treasures there was nothing but empty tv boxes all over the place because people could not fit the many tv's in their cars. It looked like LA after the riots. I was in shock from that morning events. We did have a good time although it was alittle scary. Well this year I found a job after 9 months of being laid off and I am scheduled to work. Since BF is my favorite holiday of the year I requested off but I did not get approval yet. I am afraid I may go into withdrawl if I dont get to go. So keep your fingers crossed cause if I have to work I pitty the people I work with(LOL).

The Home Depots in MD are having a 4 day sale on these plants 4/2/09-4/5/09. I went yesterday and got a lot of beautiful annuals (REg 1.21 each) at .33cents.

PLEASE BE AWARE OF THIS COMPANY!!!!! I ordered from then last October and in December they charged my CC for additional services. I was able to get ahold of them and they credited my acct. Last month they charged my CC again for $69.99 and I tried to call them many times and I was not able to get through or leave a message. I had to call my CC company and put in a fraud claim on this and cancel my card (remeber I had not ordered from them since last Oct.).:
