Penny's always has great door busters, depending between the 2 sales (WM & Penny) usually end up at both, but since we are a smaller town, usually get the free gift as well for being one of the first. Last year we about froze, so am hoping this year is warmer!!

Mine will always be "I'll be home for Christmas". Has special meaning to our family, and we always make sure it is playing at feasting time. It is in rememberence for our Father who passed away to remind us he is always there with us.

Ours Sears is too small, so I doubt they will have any of the things on the BF list, let alone the GC.

HUbby and I go together and but the house something we both want/need. Last year we got a dvd/vcr in one. Not sure what we getting this year.

Our WM is really good here for portraits. The girls are really good, or have been the past 3 years. I think I better call and get my appointment now as well, just in case. I wish we had some other place to go, as I see all kinds of coupons for Picture People and Sears and there is none around here.

Thanks for telling me, but you still did not answer my question and if you read that thread, it is basically everyone saying how great it is being able to log back onto the forum. I did this for my Mom for Mothers Day as she was going to FL to my brothers for a week. She had her favorite products, yet still remembered me everyday she was there!

We have some like that always at Wal-Mart here, but most are pretty good until you get in the store. Then the fighting begins. We have had people take stuff from our carts, we found an associate to complain to, and she had the nerve to tell me that until it was paid for, its fair game. I was SOOOO MAD!!

I need a little help and since this is the Holiday forum, perfect spot for it. How do you decide between your family's and the in-laws? My mother and I have spent every Christmas together and since my daddy passed away a few years ago, it is really hard on her near the Holidays. Hubby wants to goto his family. His parents are divorced, so that means 3 seperate Christmas'. Our son is going to be 3 and understand Christmas and opening presents, and all. I don't want to take that away from my mother, but he is insisting this year. (We have been together 6 years, and we have always done his family on Christmas Eve, and Thanksgiving.) Any advice would be greatful!!

I had my own "freecycle" in our area. I was tired of the politics and of the greedy mods. I am still a member now, but am starting a Freeshare in our area. *The newest owner of our "freecycle site" does not post things if she wants them and is never on, so it takes 2-3 days to get things posted. I love the idea of helping others instead of throwing things away! Heck, I even have gotten a mini-van from a lady!!
