Brrrrrrr!
For y'all, not me!!! They were predicting some rain here, but have switched it to partly cloudy and in the high 60's. And yes, I feel very thankful for that and so many other things.
Everyone be safe out there and have fun getting those deals!

Cool deal! Scored this for one of my brothers. Thanks!

I figure since they have already started with the Christmas displays in stores...why not! :)

Now...THAT'S what I'm talking about!!!!!

Get a Weber either way. You usually get what you pay for. If you want a gas grill, Weber's are very well made. Also, Vermont Casings have good reviews.
I was in Home Depot last weekend (yes..I LIKE that store!) and there was a giftcard offer when you buy any grill.

any tips on how to bid for hotels on priceline ..
If you are flexible on the area that you are staying in, check out www.Hotwire.com and www.Hotels.com
www.sidestep.com is also another good site

IIRC= If I Recall Correctly

I also got the email this morning. Oh well, congrats to the gals that got in and scored the earrings. Sound to me like no big loss.
If you want to cancel the order, call CS or refuse delivery or cancel the charge to your CC#.
-
once you have bid at priceline, when do they tell you whether yr price has been accepted or not ?
Usually right away. You get a "congrats, your offer has been accepted". Or, "sorry, we could not find that price for you". If that is the case (IIRC), they give you the chance to up your bid if you want to.
-
I am very leery of Priceline with this because, don't you have to agree to buy the tickets if they are found for the price you want BEFORE you know if they are found? I will mention to the guy when I tell him my results though.
I think you can go one of two ways (IIRC) with Priceline. You can try to bid for the best price and you do need to give all your CC# info and you are bound to purchase IF they agree to your price that you offered.
I also think they have the same procedure as well as Expedia, Travelocity, etc., that you can also see the price before buying.
You can also check Hotwire.com and Travelworm.com for deals. Hotwire shows you the lowest price, you just have to agree to purchase it regardless of times, connections, etc. I scored a great fare to Miami from Hotwire several months ago.
Good luck!

I got the first email, saying that I ordered it and it said I would get another one with the final info (total $, order #). I never got it, so I chalk it up to what might have been. No big loss.

Thanks!!!!!! Great deal..
Ahhh, spending more money..What a country!

Matters on what the gameplan is. Hubby hates to shop, so unless it's an item for him, I leave him at home. Otherwise, I get together with a GF or co-worker or go solo.
-
When I went in there the other day, they told me they would even price match Costco and Home Depot.
-
On BF I do carry a purse...with a brick in it for anyone that cramps my style!
If I am power shopping, I try to streamline and carry a small pocketbook.
-
My first was in the late 50's. Ooops...wasn't even born then!
Actually, in college we used to go to all the stores. Just knew it as after T-Day. Little did I know there was a rabid pack of animals doing the same thing worldwide! I feel so bonded now. <howls>
-
Matters on the gameplan. I usually do the BF shopping (hubby is a wuss). I take the 4 Runner usually. Makes me feel more in control riding so high, knocking cars and people out of the way to get a primo parking spot. haha

We live 15 or so miles from BB, Sears and Staples. The Target and Wally World are 20 miles the other way. Decisions, decisions.
We have an Ace hardware and Radio Shack in town, so usually I hit those first, unless there is something I need at the big stores.
-
Our little Ace hardware store is pretty neat. They have tables and shelves of all the BF items right when you walk in and some right outside the door also. They even open before the posted 7AM they are supposed to.
Staples is another one that is well laid out, IMO.

Whatever my credit card maximums are, silly!
I really want a plasma or LCD TV. Probably will settle for smaller items. Probably $500 or so.
