  1. because if you wait and buy on BF spend 2 more cents, you'll be able to be out with the rest of the crazies! We will welcome you with carts full on merchandise! I never go to sears, but as it is out here first, I have a list. It begins with Big A$$ TV! and ends with craftsman crap for hubby... oh wait, HE is going to sears. dang. not gettin what I want, but will be building a bigger wall at home (without purchased craftsman crap) to hold said tv.

    ROFLMAO sounds like my house!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!:yup:

  2. I like the deal on the Garmin Nuvi! If I was going to spend $97 at Target on the TomTom, I'd rather spend another $30 and get the Garmin, and I probably have a better chance of getting the Garmin...

Any idea if Dell usually has their deals available on Thanksgiving? I'm hoping to be out at midnight shopping (of course, because of the deals I'm hearing about here ;) ), but I don't want to haul the laptop, or leave that in the car either (and dh probably wouldn't let me out the front door with it anyway, LOL)...

I ordered on Thanksgiving day from Dell last year.:)

  3. Yes they would potentially have netbooks for $150 with decent specs. They would be considered loss leaders and the sales would be made up by adding the extra "necessities" employees would tell the public they "need" also, they wouldn't need a lot to get the hype up. BB has been known to do that with their "minimum 1 per store" and I've been to places where they REALLY only had 1!

Plus, it wouldn't be too expensive to purchase a 6 or 9 cell battery replacement if needed and have the 3 cell as backup if someone needed it for lengthy periods over 3 hours.

Amen!!!!!!!!!!!!That is why BB is the last store I check for some of the hot electronic items.

  4. My 60 something BFF and I were in Kohls last year, she walks with a cane. A group of young men walked past us in the aisle, well all but one. He shouldered into her pushing her away from the digital frames we were looking at, getting the last one. (we thought) Just as her started away he got tangled up with her cane, down he went flat on his face breaking the frame. We went to check out and found a display with lots of the db frames.
  5. Don't forget, when price matching at sears they only give back 10% of the difference not of the purchase price

I read Sear's price match policy just now it says they won't do it on sales that last lest than six hours and I think it also said something about BF. Anyone price matched on that day?:cheesy:

  6. :cheesy:

they do not do a ticket system. I know previous years Sears hasn't had too big of a line, but if your really needing them I would keep checking the store to see if anyone has lined up since it said they will only have 4 per store, and they vary by gas/electric.....so if your 4th in line you may not get the one you need and there are no rainchecks.

did you also see the kenmore top load ones on page 41? They are not the energy star BUT they are 80.00 cheaper and the dryer is 1.2 cf larger. Plus they have ten of those and that sale goes on all weekend. Just a thought.

Try to order it on Thanksgiving Day!nI missed the 599 set last year but got the Samsung was a much better buy. Downside Sears sold out and had to wait two months for delivery.

  7. Went to Sears this am (o'dark thirty). Purchased Samsung pair for the final ad price of 999.00 the priced lower in store was the explanation of how 799 and 749 got to 999.00. Mine won't be delivered until Feb 09, what a crappy deal! I can't believe the buyers and marketing people were not prepared for demand on this set.
