I have bought 3 kitchenaid mixers when they have been on sale for my sisters and my daughter. I have shopped for grandkids, son in law, hubby, daughter in law or brothers. The brothers are easy gc from gander mtn or cabelas does it. Son wants a tablet so I am looking now.

I bought one for my grandson last year and he absolutely loves it. Keeps him off the grownups equipment and it does everything the big people's does.

You aren't a terrible parent! I think you are right on track with the gift cards here and there. My children both grown now are still excited to tear open the package no matter what it contains. Don't stress over this, and teach a lesson.

I am assuming that your 17 yr old has been spoken to by you and hubby about this. I am truly sorry he hurt your feelings like that. Perhaps a large lump of coal in a laptop sized box and the gift cards, not enough to buy his laptop but just enough to tell him to earn the rest for it. Bless you.

I saw an article yesterday on WM layaway. It is supposed to start on 09/13/2013 through 12/13/2013. They brought back the 10 cancellation fee for this year though.

First my heart goes out to all of those who lost loved ones due to Sandy. Living in Michigan we would lose power frequently due to storms both summer and winter. The last big one we had knocked us out with projections of weeks by our energy provider. That same night someone thought it would be nice to try to break into homes in our neighborhood (including mine). We went to Sears the next day and purchased a 5000 watt gen. It powers everything in my house except the air conditioner. ( we had it hard wired) It paid for itself on the first day. If I recall we paid about 800 for it then. Good luck, God bless you all.

I am glad they did not open earlier we got there a little after 4 got what we wanted and out within a few minutes.

@Taz, when and if you get someone in BBcorp let them have it. I sat online for their sale on Thursday and Friday only to have every item sold out before I could get to check out. I have all payment info entered but when the sales went live the items were already sold out online. I suspect a lot of BB employees bought BF items similar to the touchpad incidents earlier this year. Happy Shopping all.

Wasted ALL morning trying to get netbook everytime I put it in cart got a @!#%^$#^ error message and when I was finally able to get it to cart they were sold out! Best Buy sucks most days today they REALLY SUCK!

I have an Amazon tv price match question. The Sharp that is in BB's ad is listed for 199. Does anyone know if Amazon will match that price today or during the rest of this week? If so should I order now?
