We here in the southern part of Louisiana have to pay 8.5% however due to the storm cituations we are going to have 3 days in December that will be tax free days. I almost wish I would have waited to buy a new car but maybe now I can buy new livingroom furniture. I am sure the stores will all be crowded but it may add up to big savings if I buy the big ticket items I want.....

I went with the L-Max. My son is only 4 and I felt that they had more age appropriate games and a wider selection of games to carry him through the years. This is just from what I have seen I have been wondering and doing research on both products for a while now.

I was at my local WM today to have some of my lay a way items price matched from other stores. I was informaed that WM is watching the competers ads and lowering the prices as they see sale items from other stores. I have the Tumble time Tigger and some Cranium games WM now has the cranium games for 16.88 and they told me that the Tumble time Tigger was if not already marked down will be 19.88. What have you all found with WM price matching? I also tried to take a few items off that I was informed have been bought already by others and they are not doing this service this year. You now have to wait until the lay a way is picked up and return the items not wanted. have any of you heard of this?

We do Foster care and always make sure the first toy the children get upon arrival is a bike, so I look for deals. I always seem to find them at Walmart for very reasonable prices. I dont think we have ever paid more than 35.00 for them. Give it a try and let us know what you find.

I take down my Holloween decorations o Novemeber 1 and the Christmas follows that same week. I have a 200 peice Christmas Village that takes 2.5 weeks to put up alone. Then the tree goes along with the theam so as soon as the Village is complete the tree goes up too.

I do mine in Gold and Red with White Lights. I also have about 200 village homes that I put out every year. I am not sure what is going to happen this year since we are going to have a 2 year old in the house it may all be broken prior to Christmas day.

I put in Dollar Store toys and a little candy. One orange and some nuts ( this is from when I was a child there was always fruit and nuts in my stocking.)

We go to my mothers house and have finger foods, watch christmas movies and open one gift. They always get a new pair of PJ's to wear on Christmas. I think this year we will have our big meal on Christmas Eve so that we have more time to enjoy Christmas Day, since we will have church to attend that Morning.

Thanks for all the advice. I just noticed that the Care Bears are on the store shelf however if they may be packaged differently I dont want to take the chance. Does anyone know how the online BF doorbusters work? I have never thought about doing that or did I know it was possible. Please be patient I am new to this stuff.

Ok I am getting confused now. I just went on line to look at the items and the Jeep 4X4 battery powered power wheels car is not the same as pictured in the flyer is not the same as online. Do they place these online later? I dont want to put the wrong thing on lay a way. How does all this work? I am very scared about putting things like that on lay a way and getting priced matched on BF.

No that was not one I noticed. However I did not have a lot of time to look close. I plan on Monday AM when the kiddies are in school going to search the shelves and add to my current lay a way. I am glad to hear this is how I can do it. now I can figure out what I am going to fight for and what I am going to have on lay a way already.

Hey I was wondering if you are allowed to put BF door buster items on lay a way at walmart now and get the price matched on BF? do any of you pros know how they handle this? I was in our Walmart today and noticed some of my wanted items on the shelf now.
