  1. I've always allowed it on everything and I noticed a few weeks ago there was some italicized font concerning substitution so I read it. That's when I noticed the verbiage had changed on it. I tested it out as I've always got at least 3 substitutions in every order and sure enough, they tried to charge me the higher price. I just cancelled the items when they sent out the "we have substitutions" email. Now, I will say it's kind of hit or miss. Some items subbed were the same price, and others were at a different price so it's a ymmv thing for now. They might just be testing this in some areas? I believe if you go to the website though the verbiage has changed in the FAQ.
  2. They are actually doing this now. I started noticing it on my grocery orders a few weeks ago but haven't had one yet on something that wasn't grocery. I'd be pretty upset with a price difference like that.
  3. That's the thing...Walmart and Target seem to be moving to this format. These aren't pre-sales. They ARE the sales. Retailers are moving to a whole month of sales vs. just having the Black Friday only sales.
  4. https://blackfriday.gottadeal.com/search.php You can search at the top right hand corner of the page and if there is an ad item listing that we have typed up, it will show up there. It's not set by categories. We did use to have a Black Friday Chart for electronics that you could search by categories for select items. It's under revision at the moment and has been for a couple of years. Not every ad is an ad that we type up though, so there may be some regional or smaller stores where the items don't show up in the search.
  5. Are you referring to the Black Friday charts for electronics or just anything in general?
  6. Apparently all of the retailers have decided not to participate this year, lol.
  7. This one is a fun contest. Blast from the past. My older 2 were just toddlers when this was out so I recognize a lot of the toys they had Hopping on Brad's idea of the DS because I would have jumped on that back then for sure, or the V-Smile Pocket.
  8. Yep. I tend to shop a little all year round anyway but I'm definitely almost finished this year. We did a lot of major requests last year though so I felt like this year is a bunch of small items, like clothing, shoes, etc.
  9. That would be a great idea, but one of my boy's has a g-tube and can't eat anything but potatoes, green beans, apples, and bananas, so we try hard to avoid any food related gifts at any holiday for any of us so he doesn't feel left out. I definitely wish I could throw in something like that. Seems fun!
  10. What are your favorite things to put in stockings? I have all boys' so I end up doing a lot of movies and video games to take up space
  11. Some years for me I'm anxiously waiting for a specific store to release theirs but this year I don't really have too many specific things I'm looking for. What are the top stores you wait for?
  12. Haha...one of my son's came home from school this week and they've started Christmas music in band so my no Christmas music before Thanksgiving rule gets thrown out of the window My favorites are Carol of the Bells and O Come Ye Merry Gentlemen. What are yours?
  13. https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B07CSYCJWG/ref=ox_sc_saved_image_1?smid=ATVPDKIKX0DER&psc=1 I'm always on the lookout for something for my 4 boys to play outside because they are usually out there anyway. So I added this to my wishlist a few weeks ago.
  14. he'd see the good deals but then he stumbled upon the jackpot...
  15. Do you buy it for yourself and tell someone else to get it for you? My list is always on repeat every year, haha. Wax melts, bath stuff, and some new clothes. Not very exciting.
  16. Twas the month before Black Friday and all through the forum...
