First of all God Bless you both - how wonderful you both are! Before going research other store discount pricing on same or similar netbook.Then I would suggest going to the nearest walmart store with your wish list info in hand. Ask to speak to the Store manager or Regional manager and tell them of your plans. remember to be reasonable when asking for a discount but a low percentage off might not be a deal given the qty your are looking at. Pending the outcome tell the store mgr you will get back to them because you are checking the alternative - dont forget to get the contact info of the manager. if walmart is your store of choice and the store manager cant help i would suggest contacting the walmart customer service hotline and ask to speak to a supervisor based on your special circumstances, if this does not work..call the public relations dept at walmart and ask for advice on who to contact. not sure what city and state you are in for other store choices. I am in Chicago - dont forget stores like Tiger direct outlet stores; microcenter. I will check your post often to see if you ladies have any other questions.. I will be praying for your success! A Kodak Camera (black friday ad) at Target I think in 2007. Did not work well in low light situations. I wanted my own digital camera. We used at an event and could not see any faces in lowlight situation. My husband went out the following week and purchased me a olympus. Lesson learned no more electronics purchases without reseach.

I use "Netgear" - If you are not in a hurry and don't need to be near the store you purchase this from - try one of these sites online, my husband orders from them and he is an "egghead" - computergeeks.com or microcenter.com. Hello Brad and fellow GD members, As you can see by my membership - I dont reply on website, but this issue really burned me. Its bad enough the return policy is goofy..now they are acting out...I will be watching as I suspect many of you will. Happy Veterans Day - God Bless America and our troops! email sent to ms. putnam Good Morning Ms. Putnam, Not going to make this a long note - just wanted to share a few the following re: the value of gottadeal.com. 1. While other sites do exist - I only log on and use gotta deal 2. This site helps me determine which store to visit first as sometimes the newspaper does not arrive in timely manner. 3. 5 years running Target has always been my first stop. 3 of them based on using gotta deal 4. I live 2 blocks from one of the highest grossing Target stores in metro Chicago. I will not go stand in line at 5 a.m. with out having information. 5. I have not and will not go to Wal-Mart based on past perf and current behavior re: ads. Information shared by gotta deal re: ad pulling. 6. If Target goes down this same path with gotta deal - I will cross them off my list. (This is a very sad statement for me to make, I know most of the sales team at Target and am often greeted by them.) My time is valuable with family stretched all over the place - I do not have time to spend money in stores that do not care about the consumer and their time - also please note - I visit Target 6 times a month and never leave empty handed. I am sure many of my fellow GD members may have similar situations. 7. More importantly - I understand business and decisions that have to be made. When making decisions, please strive to be fair. By the way went out to look at Fatwallet.com quite honestly a very junky site and difficult to navigate..not sure if Target's decision is a wise one.... they seem to be pretty restrictive in sharing BF sale information - my husband & I have shopped there for yrs and the approach is different every yr., last yr you had to be in the store the day before or a couple of days before and then arrive at 8 a.m. to stand in line to receive a limited number of coupons that they hand out at door..YIKES, this was daunting to the most seasoned shopper. This year I am on the mailing list (email) - maybe that will make a difference. My store is in Illinois - Chicago location If anyone finds anything out let me know!
