Keep your eyes open for the Scotch tape--I found single rolls of tape for .54 and the 4-roll packs for .74. It was in the aisle with the gift wrap. Our store also had tons of candy--I bought a lot of Hershey Kisses, Ghirardelli squares, and M&M's. Also found a couple of twin size flannel comforters for my kids' beds for 9.99, and one pack of flannel twin sheets for 4.99. The Toll House ready-to-bake chocolate chip cookies and brownies were also marked down. There was tons of gift wrap at my store, so I may go back and check that out when it goes to 90%.

I was looking for candle and air freshener deals, too, but all the apple cinnamon and vanilla scented stuff was scanning full price at my Target. I think I still have scented oil candles and vanilla-scented Febreze spray from last year, because I bought so many at 75% and 90% off. No such luck this time, however.

Thanks! I just got the first season of Flight of the Conchords for 10.79. I looked at this long and hard at Target the day after Thanksgiving and it was 24.99. I'm glad I didn't get it then!

I've used Google checkout twice, once with J&R.com and once with DVD Empire, and had no problems either time. I would use them again if they continued to offer discounts, but as Shanni posted, I probably won't bother once that $10 off $30 promotion ends.

Our family is having pictures done at Sears today, so we'll walk around the mall. I want to go to Bath and Body Works, too. I noticed on the web site that the hand soaps are down to $2 today, although I missed the $5 Wallflowers.....waaahhhh.

I was able to price match the Gilmore Girls at WM for $16, since Target had been out of it that morning. They told me the only things they couldn't price match were the blitz items, but this was part of a 2-day sale. I didn't know that some WM's actually pulled items off the shelves so people couldn't pm them. That stinks!
