  1. I just went to the Meijer online ad, and all the IPods were the same price as they are @ BB, CC, TGT, etc.... Where were you supposed to be able to get one for 30% off???
  2. <<<It was 30% off at Meijer. I would have gladly gone to Meijer to buy the daggone thing, and guess I should have. BB is closer to me and I can buy the GC at the grocery to get $$ of my gas.>>> 30% off @ Mejier? Did they have a limit? If not, I would have charged a bunch, then sold them on EBay. I've never heard of a retailer offering IPods for anything more than a couple bucks off the everyday prices.
  3. <<<That is not as easy as you think! When you return an item at Target, you can not re-buy it. It must be "re-shopped" back onto the sales floor. It might not be "re-shopped" for several hours. I also believe Target will not be "holding" any items at Guest Service on Black Friday. Target does not price match with other store's ads. If you purchased an item at Target, you have 14 days to get an adjustment. So, if you purchase something between Nov 10th and Nov 23, and it is on sale during Black Friday, you can go in on Black Friday to get an adjustment.>>> You are 100% correct on each statement you made!

    Layaway?

Target doesn't have layaway now, nor has it in at least the last 25 years. That is the Target stores in the US. I can't speak for the ones in Australia. Nor are there any plans to start up a costly service that numerous retailers have dropped in recent years. The post about stores in LA having layaway was simply a rumor. As someone recently posted, signing up a person for a credit card is much more profitable.
  5. Target s/be $69 - the $10 coupon at all stores. An initial shipment before the catalog came out to all stores has blown out in select stores. The item is still in stock in certain stores, however, they do not ship from store to store. That being the case, ask for a supervisor at your closest store to do a "item locate" to see which is the closest one with them instock. Unfortunately, you will have to travel to that store within 24 hours to purchase the unit, as they only hold products for that time frame. Followup shipments from the manufacturer may, or may not, arrive before the coupon expires, but that the nature of the way it works when you want items for a super price when they are in great demand. Once your local Walmart runs out, they most likely won't be getting anymore in either. If you are truely tired of waiting, pay the extra $10 bucks @ Walmart.
  6. They were supposed to be held off the selling floor until sunday morning. Chalk that up to a few limited stores that need their managers to know what is supposed to be going on.
