The GB Micro (black one with the silver faceplate) appears to be back in stock and still selling for $39. The other two are still sold out. I also noticed that stock on these fluctuated throughout the day.

Visited the site again after reading postings that it was back up. Was able to pick up RV dvd that was out of stock earlier this morning and another GB Micro. Site seemed to move a lot faster and checkout was smooth. Too bad it couldn't have been so easy earlier today. I feel like I wasted a lot of time dealing with them both online and over the phone!

I hope they honor the sale prices for the rest of the day because it's not fair to the buyers who have been attempting to checkout all morning. I also had a similar problem at Wal-mart.com only in my case, the website stated it didn't recognize my password. I was finally able to get through checkout after many attempts but see now that it's once again down for "scheduled maintenance". Even a call to customer service was useless as the agent told me that they were unable to pull up any order info. Seems I got lucky. I hope you all are able to get your shopping done when they get the site back up. Good luck!

I fought the online traffic earlier this morning. I thought it was just as frustrating as dealing with the crowds with the site crashing repeatedly. Anyways, I got the GBA Micro and the X-Men III stan lee dvd set.

For those on the phones holding for customer service, continue to hold because that site is down again. I can't believe it because I just got my order through after 2 hours of total frustration. Good luck to all and I hope Wal-Mart.com does a much better job next year...not that I'll be visiting them next BF.

Saw the comment that the site was back up. My items were still showing up in the cart, so I gave checkout a try while still holding for a customer service agent. It worked! Got my stuff! Hope it works for you and all others too. This has been a very frustrating experience.

Yes, keep trying if you want to avoid the store but i warn you that it's still frustrating. About 40 min ago I kept getting the same phone message that the call volume was high and got kicked off. Finally got through and have been waiting on a customer service agent for about 25 min now.

Wal-Mart.com is not an option this year. It's still down. Finally got through to the customer service phone line....but waiting for the next agent. Have a feeling this is going to turn into a long wait!

Yeah, that "Scheduled Maintenance" message is totally bogus! I was hoping to pick up the GBA Micro for $39 bucks. Guess there's nothing else to do but try to order via hone now when customer service agents become available in at 6 a.m. Well, back to standing in line at Target next year:yup: !

Just tried again with no luck! The site's basically paralyzed because I've been trying to checkout since 5:10 a.m.

Had all my items in cart and was in the middle of my order being submitted when server crashed. Very dissapointed as I thought to avoid the crowds by shopping online this year. I also won't try Wal-mart.com again.

Last year, I placed my online order at Best Buy before heading out to stand in line at Target. That was around 4 a.m. so I agree that it's got to be sometime between midnight EST and 5 a.m.

Overall, I agree. Target's my first stop each year!! I love the specials, but I'm a little disappointed with its DVD set offerings this time around. The DS gift card deal is sweet but unfortunately none of those games are on my lists. Wish they could have included more selections on that one! Probably have to go to Wal-Mart to pick up some movies and Gameboy Micro.
