Yeah, you would've been hard pressed to find $75 worth to buy that actually qualified for the coupon. Everything else was excluded because it was a Doorbuster or Chairman's Choice or whatever.

I got one, only $5 and couldn't use it anyway because their system was overloaded with so many gift cards being used. Or attempting to be used. I can always use it next time. Didn't buy much there anyway, their regular weekend sales are as good or better than what was on today.
  3. I like Wal-Mart, shop there all the time but their Black Friday sales are getting worse every year. Target won me over last year, that was the first year I wasn't at Wal-Mart first thing in the morning and I went to Target again this year. I did go to Wal-Mart around 7:30 once I'd been everywhere else and still got all the stuff I wanted.
  4. They didn't try that at mine, they just had all the registers open and people were flying through there. I was in and out in 26 minutes and that's with fighting the crowds in electronics AND toys. Got everything I was after except the Fur Real newborns which I forgot to look for. Argh!
  5. They opened the door early, we were there a little before 5AM. I went in, got a snowglobe and a chocolate fountain and checked out and was in the car by 5:06AM. Went to Target then, later on I went back to JCP around 7:30 and they still had the snowglobes. Bought a few more things that time before leaving the area.
  6. I was after season 1 of "24" for $16, but when I got there and all four seasons were $16 each I went all out and bought the set. Plus March of the Penguins, Pink Panther and Pride & Prejudice. They had a really good selection this year. Sure beat what Wal-Mart had.
  7. The email says that, but once you click the link it says (over to the right side) to come back on Thanksgiving day to see the secret items.
  8. It's not exactly that simple. It's with their credit card, here's what it says: Get $20 back on your first Wal-Mart card purchase of $100 or more made the day you open your new account in-store.* Apply today at any checkout register (subject to credit approval*) Must present Get $20 Back certificate at time of purchase to receive offer Get $20 cash back on the Wal-Mart Discover Card or a $20 statement credit on the Wal-Mart Credit Card Offer available through December 24 *Offer subject to credit approval and cannot be combined with any other offer. To qualify for offer you must {i} apply and be approved for either a consumer Wal-Mart Discover or Wal-Mart Credit Card in a Wal-Mart store; {ii} make a [single] purchase of at least $100 the same day you open your account (excluding cash advances, gift cards sales, money orders and gas purchases); and {iii} have certificate scanned at time of check out. For the Wal-Mart Discover, $20 will be added to the cash rebate earned on the credit card and is subject to the “How to Earn Cash Rewards” terms. For the Wal-Mart Credit Card, a $20 credit to the account will appear within 1-2 billing periods after the qualifying purchase is made. 9. I've gone to Black Friday WM sales for years, all over the country (whereever I happen to be on vacation at the time!) and have never gotten there before a few minutes before opening. And I've always gotten what I went for, no problems.
