Reindeer Run is a great example of teamwork and fun. There is a lot of hard work involved in getting your store spiffy for the appointed executives to come in and spread cheer. The salesplanners and endcaps are a must to have set. My store has a decorating contest on the doors by the TMC and our lounge is fully embraced for the season.
A question was brought up about hot items. There are usually several drawing card items pictured in the ad (electroincs, toys, appliances, clothing), these items are not set up till Wednesday evening after the closing announcement has been made.
