Pretty much everything you need comes in the box to get you started. Some games require certain accessories, but they are usually included with the game. (For example: Dance Dance revolution can be bought with the game only or the game plus the dance mat.) And you can use most of the accessories for any of the games. Amazon is having some really great deals on wii games. Check the Online Deals Board for best prices on games. Not only will your kids like the Wii, but you will too! Amazon has had the DSI XL for 139.99 a couple of different times over the past few days. Watch the lightning deals tomorrow.. I am sure it will show up again. The "clue" for the lightning deal usually says "the ultimate hand held gaming experience" or something similar. One of my daughters has the DS and one has the DSI. I bought the DSI XL to replace the DS at the 139.99 lightning deal. I would recommend getting the DSI XL if you can get it at that price. It has cameras, etc..that the regular DS does not. Much more fun!

Anyone know of a good deal ( less than 49.99) on the Michael Jackson wii game? It has great reviews and I am sure my girls (8 and 12) would love it, but $50 is a little much... Any help is greatly appreciated!

The ipod is showing $215 for me with a $15 GC now... Seriously, they are wearing me out! LOL I, too, ordered it for $199. I sometimes wish that once I bought something, they would not allow me to look at it again...ha..ha.. I was thinking that I needed to call for that gift card, too. Oh well....

I have an 8 year daughter and a 12 year old daughter. My 8 year old wants EVERYTHING my 12 year old does. My older daughter has a cell phone, no internet though, for all the reasons that others have mentioned. She has after school activities, etc. and also for the mere fact that it is fun and cool! She has texting, but is not allowed to delete any of them. Our bill shows how many texts she sends/receives, and if the numbers do not match, the phone is taken away permanently. Only I can delete the texts and I look through them from time to time just to be sure she is being safe and responsible. She has been fine with this and has had the phone for almost a year now. As for my 8 year old...absolutely no phone. She is only 8!!! I plan on getting my 12 year old an ipod touch for Christmas this year and no, the 8 year old will not get one. Kids grow up way too fast these days. There are some things that you have to wait for until you are old enough and mature enough to truly appreciate and enjoy it. I love getting things for my kids and I want them to be happy. But, there has to be rules and limits. I don't feel my 8 year old needs a phone or an ipod touch, but the camera and a smaller MP3 player are great ideas. Parenting is tough...but someday, they will thank us for it...maybe...LOL

Kohls when they have the 30% off. I bought one last year and LOVE it! The best coffee, by far. I order my KCups through the Amazon subscribe and save. They give you a discount and automatically ship them every month. However, I have had trouble with my coffee maker. It has been replaced (free of charge by Kuerig) a few times. This is annoying, but the customer service is great and they always replace it without a hassle. And once they replace it, the warranty starts all over. Other than that, I have had no problems. Best coffee maker I have ever had.

I ordered my brewer through Kohls when they had the 30% off with the Kohls card. Much better deal! But beware.. I LOVE my Keurig brewer, but it has had to be replaced form the company 3 times in 4 months! Thank goodness they have great customer service and a warranty!
