I am sure people will disagree with me, but i kind of like the raffle idea. I went to get a 360 last year at Walmart, and they didn't tell you where they were handing them out until the last minute. Let's just say that the aisles were trashed, more cops were called in and it was just chaos. At least with the raffle, you don't have to run and get in line unless your name is called.

Yeah, I went there last weekend, and i thought I was going to get trampled with all of the people there who were getting the samples. I think some people go there to eat lunch for free.

guess you are right.... it isn't that bad of a tv compared to the no names that others are offering for sub $1000. At least i have heard of vizio.

I would like to know if they could be returned as well- it is hard to buy a game, especially when you don't know much about it. I picked 8 random games, with the hope that they can be returned and swapped out.

My store was littered with them today.... they are everywhere.

I saw the Black friday tv at costco in their ad- a 42 inch vizio lcd for $999.... not a bad deal at all!

Costco is marking this model down $150 starting next week.... I am curious what it will come in at, since they do not currently carry this model on their website. I am guessing it will be $500.

Thanks... maybe our expectations are too high, but nothing is really getting me excited as much as the 42 inch panasonic at Tweeter. Of course I will buy some of this stuff at Staples, but it would have been nice to have seen more. If a lot of others think the same way, we might see some late season deals before Christmas.

I am wondering if BB will throw something together to match, since their ad sucks! I have heard the HD will be selling TV's, being spotted in the upper racks. That will be interesting.

Did they have plenty of FAR items in stock? My uncle (loyal BF shopper with me) seems to think it is worth the deviation from our usual plan. If they only have a few of each though, it might not be worth it.

Yeah, it was sweet when they did SAC on gift cards. I wonder what they have in store for this weekend. If they do the SAC, I will just load up on gift cards and then use it for a TV.

I hope you are right... I will be doing the BF/Staples gig, and will not be wanting to stand in line at Costco (unless the deals are amazing). They look good, but hopefully they are dead as you say.

Any ideas on the TV's? Is the Philips currently in stock? I liked the 42 inch Vizio LCD that was there yesterday, but I thought it was too new to be on sale. Looks like I was right after all... These are on sale all week, not just Black Friday, correct?
