My list includes a netbook and a touch for my wife. We might get a new camera too, but that's only if they are giving them away.

My guess is a $400 42 inch lcd and a $149 netbook. Other than that, Blu-Ray and other misc electronics will be big. I think WM will be really competitive this year, and that will make BB nervous.
I agree with Taz too, I find Staples to be a lot more lucrative for me, mostly because I don't have to show up 12 hours early.

The amount of registers at each store bring a tear to my eye- it reminds me of shopping at hypermarkets around the world. My BB has no more than 8 (sigh)

I had this problem last year... I was in NJ and they had the tv's, but the WB, PA stores didn't. Looks like they vary by location again this year. The good news is that most of the stores have the same small things on sale, just not the bigger ones.

These stores don't have anything iIwould wait in line for the next 3 days. To say you were in the front of the line though at one of these stores is pretty cool. Just glad it isnt me!

Based on this info, I think they are going to own Christmas shopping this year. I wonder if Target is going to improve their electronics selection? So far, CC looks like #1, and Walmart #2. BB is a distant #3.

I wonder if they have more to offer... if not, i think Walmart is going to destroy them. This ad doesnt warrant standing outside for 5 minutes. Maybe they have a laptop in the $200 range, and a brand name 42 inch for $600. We shall see.

I bet they end up with an even cheaper laptop. Since they just came out with a $300 one, I think they will hit a $200 or $250 mark.

Good idea... let's see how it pays off with two major retailers open Thanksgiving- Walmart and KMart. Does Target follow in the coming years?

I always stock up on lights and paper products, but this year is going to be a tree! Ours is old and in need of replacing.

I am not surprised by this. They really haven't done anything to wow me this year. I also notice an increasing decline in customer service. It could be my store, but most purchases are done online now.

I don't think I believe this one, or it would be online by now. I think BB is just lucky that they have no real competition, because they aren't anything to write home about. CC just knows how to disappoint you more than BB when you enter their store.I was at BB yesterday and spoke to someone in the computer area. We were discussing anti virus packages and something to get to make our printer wireless so that we can print from our laptops anywhere.
I asked him about Black Friday and he said and I will quote "I have seen the ad and we are going to blow another 150 Circuity City stores out of the water with it"
He would not give any information because he said that they are told that if they leak info it is an instant dismissal.
I am getting so excited I cant wait to see the BB ad.

These items are just like last year... not sure if it is worth waiting in line, although i am sure they probably have an ace up their sleeve.

I stopped going to BB two years ago due to the crowds. People become savage once they open those doors, and the BF deals aren't worth giving up TG day with family. I tend to do well at Staples, so that is where I will be BF.

Staples is my favorite BF stop. You don't have to spend a long time in line, and they know where everything is! I quietly recommend it to people though, as everyone is a potential competitor once the doors open at 6am BF!
