It really depends on the sales. Last year we went to Kohl's first because they had the huge pillows and down comforters on sale and they opened at 4 I think. The year before that it was Wal Mart.

I agree with those of you who said wait til after Christmas....but I know how it feels to want something there on Christmas morning. I used to stress myself out so much trying to get my daughter (who is now 7) stuff that she really never asked for but I though t she would want. I am much more relaxed about things now. I never have had any luck at kmart. I gave up on them a few years ago. Target is my fave...then Walmart.

Up in the attic. There is no way my seven year old could get up there...you need a ladder! So they are pretty secure up there.

My daughter is seven and I will buy her like 2 maybe 3 outfits. Her father and I both believe when kids are young like that Christmas is a time for TOYS! I have alot of young nieces and nephews to buy for also....I buy them toys too unless I am specifically asked to get them clothes.

My stepson asked for two games that I can not find anywhere! One is Mario Golf for PS2 and the other is Pokemon Crystal for GBA. Is the Pokemon GBA an older game? Because all I can seem to find is emerald, ruby red, sapphire....no crystal. If anyone has any info or suggestions I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks in advance!!!

I buy my dogs a little something.....they're part of my family too!!! I have two and I usually get them each a big rawhide bone....usually about ten bucks each.

I have been doing a little research and hallmark.com said you get a free adapter with any purchase of the illuminations, so it's something to think about....

We have a mixed tree....I swear one xmas I would like to do one in all whitelights and ornaments but I don't think the rest of the clan will let it happen.

I was just curious if anyone has purchased the illumination ornaments from Hallmark. I saw them on t.v. and they look really cool. I really want the star for the top of my tree and I went on line to price it and it is $50! So if anyone has these, can you let me know what you think? I would really appreciate it. Thanks!!!
