  1. I remember being on the Circuit City website at about 7:00 pm on BF and see that they have a doorbuster laptop in stock. We think, surely not, but it is worth a call. They actually had two and held one for us until we could get there to pick up. Got an amazing deal on a laptop and did not have to wait in line!
  2. I totally agree. The hard to find era ended when the railroad strike ended in May.
  3. You can find Ty Girlz at Hallmark and similar card stores. I have a boy, so I wasn't paying close attention, but I am thinking they are about $13? They do not seem to be hard to find, at least not yet.
  4. I hit the Dooney bags pretty hard and got a few that were originally $135 marked down to about $48. I just cannot bring myself to spend more than $50 on a purse.
  5. I called my local store again and the latest person said it runs through tomorrow. I am so glad I broke my neck to get there last night. That first person should not be able to give out critical information!
  6. I just called my local store and the additional clearance is today only! Must go immediately after work . I am so glad I checked this before I went home. Thank you!
  7. I thought it meant Your Merchant May Vary. As in your local merchant.
  8. I found the Boys polos in Springfield, MO.
  9. My MIL got one in the mail and sent it to me. I found boys Arizona shorts 2 for $20, regularly $24.99. So after the coupon I spent $10.66 for shorts that would have normally run $50 plus tax. Who would pay JCP's regular prices? Yikes!
  10. I bought my son a few polos for $1.00 each in the Boys Department. They were pastel colors. Light blue, yellow, purple, and so on. But heck, you can't buy them at a garage sale for that!
  11. There was a railroad strike in Canada, which made them very hard to find a few months ago. They seem to have caught up with the demand though, because they are everywhere now. The prices on Ebay have definitely dropped. The Love Puppy used to command $100, but now sells for around $50. Hold on a little longer and he may go even cheaper.
  12. Bumping, I am interested too. Thanks everyone!
  13. Which ones are you looking for? About 5 stores in my town just got some the other day. Let me know what you need and I will be happy to look for you. My son has the black and white cat, to match our cat at home. But just this morning he said he wanted another Webkinz, so I planned on making the rounds this weekend. I will be happy to look for you and send you one, or whatever you need, if I find them. Don't pay Ebay prices, there is no need, unless you are looking for a retired one.
  14. I was able to print one directly from the Toys R Us site and used it last night.
  15. I get an error message when I click on the link.
  16. I thought it was Your Merchant May Vary. But either way, $1.97 jeans! It is worth checking out.
  17. I really need something heavy enough that the cats cannot knock it over. That is what they are doing to my current can, knocking it over and taking the q-tips and cottonballs for toys. Thus my fear of a removable lid. I should have bought that one at Wal-Mart .
  18. I have certainly been tempted. I saw some cobalt blue ones about a year ago at Wal-Mart, and right now I am kicking myself for not buying one.
  19. Holy Cow! My husband would kill me! I have an addiction for cobalt blue stuff, but just cannot justify the price. Besides, it is a little big for my bathroom. Thanks for looking though, I do appreciate it!
  20. I am looking for stainless steel cobalt blue trash can to match my bathroom. I would prefer one with a lid since my cats think trash cans are toy boxes. Something around a 4 gallon / 12 liter would be good. I have found white, red and stainless steel but no blue. I have searched under garbage can, trash can, pedal bin, trash bin, you name it. Any ideas? Thanks!
  21. Your old credit cards will show up for 7 yrs, sometimes 10. If they do not show "closed by grantor", or "closed by consumer" then there should be directions at the beginning or end of the credit report on how to file a dispute. Or, you can go the the credit bureau's website and there should be directions there.
  22. As long as you use one of the approved Google checkout vendors, you will need to add an item to your shopping cart on the vendors website, then if you view the items in your cart, it will have a tab that says Check Out Using Google Checkout and Save $10. Then it will ask you log into Google checkout and will automatically take the $10 off and give you a new total. This is also where you can choose your shipping option and it will add sales tax, if applicable. We used Google checkout for a large majority of our online shopping and saved a ton!
  23. I signed up under my other email address and got a hoodie from Aeropostale for $12 shipped. Thank you again Google Checkout. And GottaDeal too.
  24. Thanks for the tip! I just signed up on their website and got a 25% off one item coupon. I have been itching to go in there anyway!
