That's faulty merchandise and they need to fix it since it is within a few hours. I would take that back and have them order you another one (if they don't have it in stock). Make sure you also get it at the sale price and all that.

If CC would just get some competent employees then this would all be solved. I wonder if they have a customer service number to file complaints with...and if you do would they care.

I love it how you gotta pay for S&H even though my order is over $24 but of course something I want is "in-store only" and the stuff is "for shipping only". I say full order and you get the free shipping...but no. CC = Worse BF store ever.

Wow seems like some of ya got lucky about Best Buy doing PM...went there and they said "no we don't do that on BF" But I can tell you my experience in commercial style... 15 minutes in Target $20 15 minutes in Best Buy $20 2 hours in Circuit City $40 Finally getting out of the line from he** in Circuit City PRICELESS If for once CC employees would work efficently the line would move so much better. I watched the associate... Pick up item Scan bar code Hit key on keyboard Lay item down REPEAT AFTER DONE Swipe item over de-magnatizer one at a time... Average time for one item around 20-30 seconds, when it should take no more then 10... How hard is...LIFT, SCAN, PRESS, SWIPE The guy who replaced the other girl did that and I was done in seconds. CC get some competent employees and get rid of the stupid method you use for checkout of hitting enter after each scan and the long receipts.

Just took a drive past Best Buy (well around 5pm) and there was only about 20 people in line. Of course they take all the doorbusters so your SOL at this point. I am sure by now that number has at least doubled.

Ya know every year they get earlier and earlier to open up (next year it will be 4am) and every year the ads get worse and worse. Makes me wonder why we get up for this... I guess the stores already made money so what do they care about BF...personally the Internet is to blame for all this because the sales there are year-round.

I will say one good thing about the WM ad...it makes good toilet paper :)

Well to me that is Best Buy's fault and I am surprised they did not have alot of issues for false advertising.

Good luck with the CC PM I know the past few years they DID NOT PM. As for WM I did the same thing...went there today to ***scout***. They had a few DVD's out that are on-sale (Knocked Up and 300) the correct editions but Full Screen only. I had the associate go check in the back and of course they did not have them there. Hmmm

Zune is Microsoft...iTunes is Apple... They are in no way compatible with each other, unless there is some wonderful hack out there I don't know about (I am sure there is) but for your average no the answer is no.

Usually they are not the same stuff...it's other stuff (in my past experience) Anything left over still goes at the cheap price too after the 2-day sale. (again from the past few years)

Now if they are smart they will ALL do price matching. After this pathetic attempt they need to. Of course half this stuff is not BF specials, you can find alot of it after BF. (the DVD's that are lower priced will be there the next week if any are left, I already went there the week after and got them)

Friend of mine at work says that she saw a sale going on that they have buy 1 get one free on DVD's for BF, but I don't see anything in the paper. Any idea about this, and what movies they will have?

Well last year the ad came out, and last year it went around "oh gosh it is the fake ad we can't wait to see the real one" and guess what...it was th real one. Don't get your hopes up this is fake.

Has anyone had this experience? It takes on average 2-3 hours to check out of this place and maybe even more. Okay yes I know the average time at any store is around that but CC is the worse. Why you ask well here goes... 1) Receipts, receipts and more receipts. If you buy 5 items and each has a rebate you need to wait until they print out 6 f'n receipts. No not the tiny little ones we need the 2 feet long ones that take forever to print out. 2) Horrible employees. Yeah those who have no clue how to check out. A normal check out may take 2-3 minutes (I will even go as high as 5-6 on BF) but you got these newbies who can't add or figure anything out who take 15 minutes and hold up the line. 3) Horrible organization. You have Best Buy who is smart...1 line that feeds into 6 others and you go to the next available line. Also special lines for cameras, etc, etc and nobody else is allowed in. CC just the opposite...20 lines never moving and you get lucky on the pick. Of course you can go in anyline not just the special ones. Any other thoughts? Yeah I will still go but is it worth all of that trouble...and they keep you there forever and you miss out on other deals.

Well you can go to Best Buy all you want...good luck getting anything on sale for BF it's all been pulled.

For me Wal Mart is usually my first stop on BF...well this year it will be my last stop (yeah I will still go)... Usually I am going for the DVD's, but based on past experience the good ones are gone within minutes (the $2-$3 or something like that) and they still have plenty of the higher priced ones ($4-$5) which can also be found online.

I don't get this ***we can't talk about the ad except here*** Sure I understand the whole legal issue of posting the ad...but from what I can tell you can ONLY view the forums if you are registered, so if you are registered you can see this forum. Therefore, if you have an account on this site you can see all posts no matter what and can see this forum anyways. Now those who don't have an account casually browsing will not see it so I guess that is why?
