Headed out about 11:30 over to Target, which was not as busy as I would have thought. They still had plenty of the items I thought would be long gone - Sony Blu Ray Player, Portable TV, $5 PJs, and Nerf Toys. Didn't feel like checking out the TVs to see which ones were still left because electronics was busy.
Next was Best Buy, who also had plenty of door buster stock on hand - Cheap DVDs, Blu Rays, GPSs, Video Games. The store was so dead compared to BFs in the past - only 5 people in line ahead of me.
Macy's was very dead - like shopping there on a weeknight.
Found the crowds to be very light compared to year's past. I don't know if this is because of the economy or the people are making purchases online.

I was able to get Santa Buddies from Target. The two closest to my house were sold out, but was able to find it in the one that was a half hours drive away. Is this normal for Target to get few copies of Disney blu ray new releases? I know there was a big shortage of Monster's Inc.
Anyway, I was just glad to be able to get it for my son.

If the gift card doesn't work out, I plan on bringing the Target Ad to Best Buy for a Price Match, since I believe both movies were the cheapest at Target, but Best Buy is also giving the additional $8 off when you buy both.
Do you guys think that Best Buy will still take the $8 off of a Price Matched Price?
Probably not, but you could get lucky and your Best Buy may do it for you. They have been pretty particular about price matches and additional discounts. It has been one or the other and they would have to have a mgr over-ride to give both.

You need a scanner with a number pad on the side. Then just type in the DCPI and it will come up with all the info just as if you had scanned the item itself.

Do you have the dpci for the cars toddler bed?
Can someone explain to me how to check the DPCI on the scanners? I always hear people tlk about that, but never know how to do it. TIA.

I think this is going to be the same TV that is in the store at $429.99. I asked at my Target today and the guy said he didnt know what was in the BF ad, but he said that was the only Westinghouse 32" 720p that they carried.

They had the rock band 2 at my target for $83, did not pay attention to what system it was for because I really was not interested in buying. If I go back in the next couple of days, I will take a closer look if still available.

My hair dresser recommends this brand of flat iron. This is a great price. The lowest I've ever seen them was around $80.

This may be ymmv, but the Target Ad lists the disney Princess Tiana doll (green dress) for $8. I went to my local Target and they had one with a blue dress on the shelf. (The one with the blue dress lights up.) The doll (blue dress) was tagged with the $8 sales price on the shelf. It rings up $24.99. I asked the sales woman if this should be $8 and explained the situation. She had the toy dept. do a price check since the ad had a green dress and the one I had was a blue dress. Turns out it was the wrong doll, but since it was placed and tagged incorrectly AND they did not have the one with green dress, they gave me the $8 price.
I posted this because the same doll was tagged incorrectly at a different Target in my area.

They had them this morning and handed out tickets. Everyone was rung up at customer service and it ran smoothly. It was one per person, not household. I must say it ran smoothly and was very organized.

My target was pretty cleaned out of Halloween stuff. Nothing significant enough to mention.
Got the Leapfrog Tag Jr. for 8.99 with use of Target coupon and Mfr coupon. Also got one Tag Jr. book for $4.99 using PM to TRU Big Toy Book and Mfr coupon.
Had no problem with Mfg coupon, Target coupon came up as "item not found", but sales person over-road it without hesitation.

Starting 10/25 Wii, PS3, and 360 priced $59.99 or lower are B2G1 free. This is pretty nice deal for video games. The ad doesn't mention DS or PSP, so I'm assuming those are not included.

Here are the blu ray prices for next week.
Target: "low price"
BB: $25.99
TRU: $29.99
WM: $19.96
Of course Target would only advertise a "low price" since that was what I was interested in. Most of their Disney new releases have been $19.99. Hopefully that is the case this time. $5 for a new release blu ray is a sweat deal.
