  1. 1)My best tip is to be bold if you see someone who already has an item you are searching for ask them where they found it......so much easier then trying to find a sales employee. 2)Have a buddy who can stand in line while you gather the items you want saves time so you can move on to the next store. 3)Plan ahead. Review the ads and get a game plan based on the items you want and when the stores open. If the item you want is not a door buster you may be able to wait until later after all the crowds have gone. Most of all have fun!!!
  2. Wake up early 6am on Thanksgiving and look for my paper. Run through the ads and get my gameplan together. Cook dinner....we always go somewhere but have to have the main staples at home Turkey, stuffing, potatoes, gravy, Sweet potatoes, and a pumkin pie. Tried not cook and my husband was too upset with the "no leftovers" so I still cook. We are going to my In-laws for dinner and a friends for desert. Usually we would go back home and try to sleep before running out for midnight sales go back home and sleep till 4am get up and start over again. This year may have to stop a few places before we go back home though......I am really disappointed in the Thanksgiving day sales....I feel bad for the people who will not be with their familys. Besides taking away the true sport of Black Friday shopping.
  3. I think we will be doing Thanksgiving dinner as usual may run out for 12am sale but think it is crazy the stores being open during dinner time....not fair to the poor people who are missing the time with their family's.
  4. I like the scavenger hunt Idea....looking through the ads for items giving page numbers and costs....first person to get all correct gets a shirt. Could do a Christmas show trivia how many times do they say nose in Rudolph the red nosed reindeer...or something like that. .
  5. #1 Where is the 10 items and under line?????? #2 There is only 1 ticket left for the" New Furby" I am so sorry folks. #3 Please join the Black Friday sing along.......

  9. I have been doing BF for about the last 10 years. For several years went to WV to shop with my sister in law but then last 7 in Pittsburgh. My husband is the line waiter while who ever else I drag with me helps me gather the hot buy items. Been on here since 2006 love getting the preview. Can't wait!
  10. any kitchen gadget! got a vacuum cleaner for $8 last year. I never really know until the ads come out. Always end up with socks from more than 1 store. Depending on the deal could end up with electrics tv, laptop, maybe a blue ray this year who knows????
  11. I vow to stick to the plan, not overspend, and not get slowed down till the last stop!!!! SHOP TILL YOU DROP!!!!
  12. I love the twlight series by Stephanie Meyers read all 4 books twice!
  13. My first BF 8 years ago my husband and sister IL went to Walmart and got a large TV when we got it out to the car we couldn't get it into the trunk. So we had to take it out of the box and push it into the back seat leaving very little room for my sister IL to sit. Mind you this was all in about 28◦ weather. We laughed so hard but had such a great time we have been out every year since!
