Got my laptop - LOVE IT! A nice upgrade from the PIII-500 with 384 megs of ram I've had since '99. The 17" HD widescreen monitor is BEAUTIFUL! Sitting outside in the bitter cold New England weather from 8:00pm-5:00am definitely paid off! Going back today to have the service department put my 2gigs of ram in. All in all it worked out better this way (the gift card) as I end up with a ~$5 gift card in my pocket, AND my two original 512MB sticks of notebook ram in my pocket.

I picked up my 2GB Ram Athlon X2 HP with a BEAUTIFUL 17" Widescreen monitor for $450 at CompUSA (plus got an additional $10 gift card and two 512mb notebook ram chips for free because of their boo-boo - but that's another story!). Couldn't be happier!

Unfortunately, I left my personal CompUSA ad at CompUSA. The full page on-line PDF scans are gone. Anyone know where I can get an old copy of the ad?

Looking through my rebates...one of the things I picked up on Thanksgiving night at CompUSA was an Antec notebook cooler. The ad online shows it as being $10 after rebates, but mine rang up at $39.99 - $15 MIR....what gives?
