If i had to spend $50 on everyone from his parents to brother and sister in laws and there kids I be broke. I love my husband family no matter what but I could not afford to buy everyone something. and I do not expect them to buy me or the hubby or my kids anything. Just being with family and having a good time is enough.

I went with a combo gift they are getting a lap top and printer. She will not be home for Christmas but he will be home. I will send the gist back with him. She will be Home in Jan for a few days. I have a few small things I bought over the summer I might send them back with her if they fit in her suitcase as she will be flying in.

It depnend on how many hours a day I am at work most of my work days are 10 to 14 hour days. so on those days maybe I am on here maybe 30 minyes per day but when I am not working I have to keep checking back so them I am on alot. Once you get to know the people that are on here it fun to share in the forums.

I to go the GC route. They each get there own gift cards They get them to places they like to eat local stores so they can go shopping my fIL gets gas cards.. Do they enoy reading the news paper how about paying for that for them. If you MIL is in her 70 how about paying someone to come in her house once a week to help her clean the things she might not beable to do any more.

We looked but I was looking more for some type of lights to mount on the grill.

On December 2 we are going to be in a local Christmas parade we will be pulling a troop of boy and Girl scouts with our semi. This years theam is the Grinch that Stole Christmas. Does anyone has any sites where I might try to buy some Grinch lights or anything else. I check ebay but was not that impressed with what was listed. I guess I am mainly looking for lighted stuff. Ok it hard as I hate to say it I do not even know the guy. I meet him one time the DD brough him in to where I work we were busy all I said was hello to him. He was staioned in Ark she decided she loved hima nd went there this summer to be by him and we found out last week she got marryed in Aug.. Long story. I guess something I should be posting in the kids and parenting forum. Still shaking my head about it....

This is the first year that we have a son in law and just wondering how much does one spend on a son in law. Do I try to spend what I spend on my own kids or what.
