Just a heads up. Not sure if this is all stores or just our store manager being a jerk, but we were told no price matching today thru next Tuesday

We were told Tuesday that through Dec 24 we will be matching Walmart.com and online retailers prices. Adjust your plans accordingly.

Layaway will be closed so technically you can't pick it up until Saturday when it reopens and the price is back to normal. Some Walmart s may open their layaway that day but company says it won't her open. Best buy does have it in their current ad for the same price now though so you can comp it anytime.

As of right now it will be open but BF items cannot be put on layaway until the day after the event.

my wal-mart is looking at a start time also....i told them from experiance waiting last year for xbox 360 that they would have fights, but hey what do i know. also, not sure about other wal-marts but mine is getting 33 nintendo wii.

Much the same as what im hearing at my wal-mart. We are not however letting people line up 2 daqys ahead. They said Thursday the 16th. Anybody lining up before that will be told to move along :)

BF stuff will ne in store sooner than that, it always has been.

This is all true at my store except the associates being trampled upon. We have had customers bring their own cutters to remove the plastic at 6 am and others try to rip the plastic off right at 6. They are all told once to back off. After that its bye bye impatient jerk as they are escorted out the door :) Those with their own box knives dont even get the warning.

BF is after the 17th, so you can pick up stuff still on layaway but not put Blitz items on layaway.

Wal-mart follows their standard price matching policy on BF. Same EXACT item and competitor must be within 30 miles (some stores stretch this to 50 or 100 miles, just depends on the store)
