Yes! 25% off kettlebells! Oooh and cold weather Crocs... Thank you for posting this. I'm more excited about this ad than Target's.
-
Any word on BF sales for either store? I need some heavier kettlebells and am hoping they're on sale BF weekend. Fitness gear is what I always want for Christmas, but the good stuff doesn't usually go on sale until January. Thanks.

You're so close! Congratulations! I went BF shopping a few days after a c-section. Probably not the smartest idea. After a month you should be feeling better. Just be sure to have some water and snacks with you. Post-partum recovery takes a lot of energy.

Installed the Gotta Deal app! :) It's going to be great for BF shopping.

Not that it's important, but is there a better picture of those free bags they are giving away. Stores open at 5, but they're giving them away at 4? To people standing outside the store?
They're the same bags they sell in the store. Red, with a picture of a tree. They're not very big though. I know I have one around here somewhere. My local Target was giving them away when they first started carrying them.
I guess they will give out the bags as people line up? IDK about that one. In past years, they would do giveaways as you walked into the store.

Target is way closer to me (and safer) than Wal-Mart, so I'm picking Target. But any more info on staying open until 11 PM? I hope they do that at our local store. There's 2-24 hour grocery stores, but sometimes there are things I can only get at Target. Later hours would definitely help me out.

Oh cool! I don't usually post during the year, but I do regularly check out the Target Perimeter thread, so I know what to look for on my weekly (daily) pilgrimage to Target. So cool to see this up early this year. Hope the deals are good and there's less, um, controversy this time around.

I love my KA mixer, but it's not hard to find a deal on one. Look around at Amazon, Kohl's or Target. You can find better models for less if you look, especially this time of year.

I'm pretty sure the Wal-Mart Hp printer is the same one I have. I got mine at target for $30 or so. It's going to be a discontinued model, that's why it's so cheap. Mine works fine, but I did have to buy a cable for it.

I was coming here to post the same thing. I heard from someone that they're considering doing seasonal layaways. With the economy being so bad, they're hoping this could up sales more. I don't know if they'll definitely do it, but it looks like they're at least thinking about it.

Sigh. I just drove past this one yesterday when I went to Target. I was kinda excited since it's so close to my house. Oh well, maybe I'll score some good deals as it closes.
Aw. That's too bad. The one closest to me is staying open. Maybe try the one in Concord? That's a pretty good area with lots of stores around. I've gone up there on BF and really enjoyed my shopping experience. Plus, it's not too far from University City.

And if your car got stolen at the local bank, church, library or elementary school would it be their fault? Most retail establishments, public parking lots, and garages have disclaimers that they are not responsible for the cars or their contents. Why? Because they know that there are bad people out there. The scum of the earth who will take things from you anytime, anywhere. Now, if it was a WM employee who stole the car, took it apart, and resold it in the automotive section then that would be a different story :)
In this case, it really was their fault. Not only did the security guard sit there and watch, one of Wal-Mart's store employees did as well. After our car was stolen, we found out there have been several thefts from that parking lot. Oddly enough, the same thing has not happened at the Super Target down the street. Apparently, thieves choose the Wal-Mart parking lot because of the lack of policing.
The problem I have with Wal-Mart os the obvious lack of security in their parking lots. I had not idea how bad crime in Wal-Mart parking lots was until after my car was stolen.
-
Maybe if Wal-Mart spent as much time policing their parking lots as they do the internet, my car would not have been stolen. They don't have anything cheap enough for me to shop there, especially considering the amount of money we've had to pay to recover and repair our car.

Thanks a million!

Mine broke, but I had a product replacement warranty thank goodness.

I have 3 of those BOGOF coupons. They hand them out at the register, so go ask if you can have more.
I got a flyer about a sale over BF weekend. I forgot the details. I'll have to find it upstairs.

Wow, the ad sucked.
BUT if you look on the http://holiday.ri-walmart.com/?section=secret (wal-mart page) they are showing a KitchenAid Classic Stand Mixer for $139 on BF from 5a-11a. This one was not int eh ad flyer at all.....
That's an excellent deal.... For, like, 2004. It's a Classic. They've been steadily decreasing in price for the last couple of years. One store had a Classic model earlier this year for $99. And Target had them on clearance recently for $59. I know Wal-Mart is trying, but they're still out of step. For some unknown reason they cannot offer competitive pricing on popular brands. I think they assume that most customers don't pay attention to price.

How is the polaroid brand for hdtvs? We want one but would like opinions from those who have them. Thanx!
I had one in my exercise room. The best thing about it was the 3 year replacement warranty from Ciruit City that I used in a year.
I had that Dell laptop and it didn't do too good either. I don't how they can run Vista on it.

Yep. They responded to my e-mail with a link to the CNN story and quoted some extremely vague clause from the affiliate terms which didn't specifically mention BF or anything about ads.
Didn't you state earlier today that you contacted CNN about the story? Maybe that's it? I'm sorry that happened to you, but I'm going to guess the ad isn't the problem. Sorry.
-
I saved the ad as soon as I saw it, but didn't look at it yet. Oh, well. Guess I won't bother.
-
Thanks, Brad! This is a great looking ad. I see toys my kids actually would like, some potential gifts and even a few things for me. Target is closer to me than Wal-Mart, so I'll go there. Plus, it's in the same shopping center as Best Buy and Old Navy, so that'll be really convenient for me.
-
A couple of years ago, I got a refurbished Professional model for $169 at Amazon. They tend to have the best prices, IMO. Often there's a $25 off deal, too.
-
Any idea yet what time Target will open this year? Thanks!

My husband got one Sunday morning. We didn't preorder. He just walked in when Target opened. They had 4 of the 32 gig and he was number 3 in line. Because Target didn't allow customers to specify which of the Wii Us they wanted, they sold all of the deluxe consoles to customers who hadn't preordered. I don't doubt Target was selling all of them to non-preorder customers. Sorry you didn't get one, but Nintendo claims more are on the way to arrive before Christmas. Since they won't be on sale for BF anyway, you can keep checking. Hope you find one for a reasonable price.
It looks like Game Stop has the best price on Forza. I guess I will have to send DH to Best Buy to get Kingdom Hearts 3D and MK. Has anyone seen any deals for Kid Icarus? All my boys want this year are video games and more video games. Thank goodness for sales.
