  1. Has anyone tried using the childrens cameras or mp players yet??

Not sure if keeping or returning. Regular 29.99 now $2.99. I have purchased alot of items in the last 2 days. Scan everything, nothing is marked in my store.

Does your rite-aid have a customer-use scanner? Haven't noticed that at mine, but can't say I've searched for it either. Sure is a nice feature at CVS.

  2. I don't think our Kroger got any of the really good stuff ya'll are talking about this year, but last time I was there (about a week ago - it's over 30 min. away) the decorations were 75% off but dishes (snowman) and the white bakeware was only 50%. Candy was priced as marked down. Didn't see anything interesting enough to even take note of the %.
  3. The last time I was in our local rite-aid, they had a little clearance Christmas, but they also had several boxed up containers labeled with various christmas mdse, so guess they were sending that back or something. Wonder how that all works.
  4. FYI, while I was standing in line to check out, a staples guy told me about the furniture replacement plan. For $4.95, I bought 3 year replacement for my $49.99 chair. I think that's a great value. My chair is going to dd's dorm room. It will be the 3rd chair in 1.5 years. The first was from staples, the second (a cheapie bought by the one who broke #1) was not. If I'd had this policy on #1, I wouldn't have been buying #3 last Friday. :) (the one who broke #2 is helping pay, but still...) If the chair is going in a high/rough use area, check this out!

  6. Hey Guys! The Magellan is BACK IN STOCK at BestBuy.com! $79.99! :fluffy:

    http://www.bestbuy.com/site/olspage.jsp?id=1211454748496&type=product&skuId=8882845

oh man, this is the one I originally wanted, but it was not in my local bestbuy ad :(

    The price is now $199.

I'm holding onto a tomtom 125 and a garmin nuvi 200 (both for $99) still trying to decide between them, but wouldn't be beyond returning both of them if the right alternative deal came along...

  7. I've bought awesome books and cds there. Some of them still had walmart stickers on them showing much higher prices! Also, they usually have a good selection of sudoku books - often the same series you find at other stores. BUT, you do have to watch about other things as has already been pointed out... Some things cost $1 there that would cost $.69 or so at Walmart. I read once that walmart owns dollartree. Anyone know if that's true? They are always in the same shopping center complexes here in my area.
