  1. Is it Half.com? I believe they sell text books.
  2. Elyria Ohio is closing also. Things appear to be going rather quickly in some depts.
  3. Thanks for your thoughts and prayers. It appears that he will remain in ICU for at least another weekend, but he is making progress. At least he is now awake and knows who we are, date, etc. We are hoping for a good day tomorrow.
  4. I just picked up a brochure in the ICU waiting room tonight. Hampton Inn $84.00 Cleveland Clinic rate. This includes the "On the House" hot breakfast and complimentary internet service. Breakfast items include scrambled eggs, sausage, french toast sticks and waffles. This is located on East 9th Street. (216) 241-6600. I hope this helps. Good luck to your friend.
  5. I just arrived home from the Cleveland Clinic. My husband has been there for a week and a half already and will probably be there another week and a half. One night he was really critical and I did not want to be 50 miles away in case he took a turn for the worse. (Luckily he didn't take a turn for the worst, he should be out of ICU in a few days) So that night I stayed at the Intercontinental Hotel which is attached to the Clinic via a skywalk. It was $139 per night. Which for the upscale hotel it appeared to be that seemed a reasonable price. I just pulled my Cleveland Clinic handbook and here are some hotels and phone numbers they have listed. DOWNTOWN Wyndam, 1260 Euclid Avenue (216) 241-7500 $$$ (Luxury rates) Holiday Inn Lakeside, 1111 Lakeside Avenue (216) 241-5100 $$(moderate rate) Best Hotel & Suites, 3614 Euclid Avenue (216) 361-8969 $ (economic) SOUTH OF CLEVELAND Red Roof Inn, Rockside Road, Independence, Exit Rt 77 (216) 447-0030 Holiday Inn South, Independence (216) 524-8050 $ (economical) EAST OF CLEVELAND Fairfield Inn at Interstate 90&91 (440) 975-9922 As the above poster stated, the Clinic itself is safe, however the adjoining neighborhoods are not the greatest. One additional tip, the parking is going to cost $10.00 per day. If you go to the cashiers office by the cafteria, you can purchase parking passes. 5 coupons for $30.00 or 10 coupons for $40.00. This is definitly the way to go. If you have any further questions, let me know and I will answer if I can. I am not from Cleveland, but have the spent the last week and half there and will be going again tomorrow. My husband could still use prayers if anybody is willing to do that for me.
  6. Thanks, I ordered it for my son who also just got a Wii for Christmas. The code did work for me for the addiitonal savings. He used to receive this magazine but I paid full price for it. Thanks to Gottadeal and the OP he will receive it once again.:)
  7. I am returning mine to Wal Mart. The quality of the photo was not good at all. Hopefully I can get to KMart and check out the Kodak.
  8. I picked mine up at Target yesterday. It was $89.00 there also. I have not seen it cheaper anyplace.
  9. I don't know about a sale. I do know that I LOVE Behr paint. I've decided it is the only paint I will use.
  10. Macys recently purchased the Kauffmans in Elyria Ohio. I also agree, it is now more expensive than it used to be. I haven't bought as much there since it became a Macy's.
  11. I called my Applebees in Lorain County Ohio and it was a $100.00 purchase to get the $10.00 card
  12. In our area, K-Mart had their trees marked down yesterday. Some as low as $23.00 Not many were left.
  13. Target has some really cute gift card holders. The ones I was were up by the cash registers. One year I bought those puzzles that you inserted the card into and the cube and then you have to get the little ball thru the maze to get it unlocked. That was fun.
  14. I went to ours Thursday nite but they didn't have anything worthwhile left:( The sales associate did inform me to watch my e-mail though because during the month of November they will be having their Friends & Family sale. You will receive a coupon for an additional 30% off everything in the store.
  15. I did read that AC Moore has them in the store for $199.00 (evidently not available on line) I haven't seen this myself so I can't verify it. Any purchases from QVC from now until December can be returned until January 31, 2007 I believe. REally if you have to pay full price that is the best deal so far with the extra cartridge. That alone is a $90.00 value.
  16. I can honestly say that I did not try this. I have been reading on other boards that Micheals no longer accepts the coupons on this machine. I would recommend calling ahead and speaking to the manager before I went out and tried to buy this with the coupon. Evidently this is why Michaels drops the price of the cartridges by $20 so it is considered a sale item and the coupon is not appliciable.
  17. Check on QVC.com. When I purchased mine, it was on two easy payments. Also on QVC you get the extra cartridge, making it one of the better deals out there. (Especially considering the cartridges are usually ON SALE for $50-60.00.
  18. It would cause our homeowners insurance to go up if we had one.
  19. I send photos to family. I also send photos to friends I don't get to see very often.
  20. I probably spend about $300 per kid. We have five so we really need to stick to our budget. One is married so hers gets split between her and her husband. Then I probably spend $150.00 on the two grandkids that belong to them.
  21. The nano has dropped from $150 to $129 here so far. Evidently there is a bigger and better one coming out? I am keeping my eyes open, I need to buy two this year.
  22. I look at the ads here, we get a paper delivered, then I go to the gas station and buy the other large newspaper that we don't receive at home. I want to make sure all of my basis are covered. I did have to tell the girl at the gas station last year how to make her turkey. It was the first Thanksgiving she was cooking.
