Mine are for teenage boys so that they will leave my camera alone. If they are taking a picture in low or dimmed lighting, I don't think we want to see the whole picture any way.
I bought for my daughter and it was useless in Disney world and she is only 10

once walmart scans are posted then all I need is toys r us and Menards may be farm and fleet I am excited to be able to compare

there is a chance yes and there is a chance no, Thats the chance you will have to take

There are several good Kodak camara's you need to read reviews, I bought my daughter one last year at BB that is pink, It takes great pictures inside with lots of light and out doors are great, But it did not work in low light at Disney or outside with verylittle light they all came out either very dark or black

I know that sams club has the nikon L18 for 89.99 reg 149.00 at other stores

I will still disagree with you, Do you have children? I know in the 20 years I used layaway my oldest is 21, I never had to run from store to store to find what they wanted as things got sold out, I already had it on layawy.
Everything is not about money.
Layaway served a purpose and it is missed.
-
I buy what I can afford, I am just glad my kids even thought they have Name brands, they could care less
-
Layaway cost (storage trailers, employee time, missing items) > Profit of layaway sales
It's really not complicated. For people who used it to hide items, sure okay but it's not like they kept them right up to Christmas for you, it was a couple weeks before that items had to be picked up. For others who do not have enough financial control, it's about time you learn how to manage money.
I believe that this comment is insulting to a lot of people besides me, You have no idea what a persons reason's are to use layaway. I manage what little money I have just fine thank you, But I also with the help of Layaway saved a tremendous amount of maney every year, along with time and problems finding those hard to find toys my 4 children would want. I know with Layaway from Oct through Dec I paid walmart 1000.00 for what was on layaway.
You are very condisending and insulting

ixray, lucky duck!!! I ordered mine on November 7, and I"m in "delay" hell. I got an email that they were overloaded and it would be a 10 business day delay. I just wrote them asking what the status is, since it's been more than 10 business days, and was told there's a further delay, you'll get them before Xmas.
Umm.... they were supposed to be Xmas presents....and one was being shipped to the UK. If I don't have it by Thanksgiving, they won't have it by Xmas.
Needless to say I'm not very impressed by Artscow right now.
wow you ordered less then 2 weeks ago and it's a custom order. And you knew it was coming from over seas have paticents hun it will be here, They have had hundreds of orders.

Who says that the person behind you didn't want this LCD Monitor?? Is it fair you got one and did not get it; then give it to a family that might not have waited as long as the person behind you that subsequently loses out? I don't see much of a difference.
Big differance they decided agains it a GAVE it to some one else they didnt sell it to put money in their pocket

Just wanted to let everyone know TSC - Tractor Supply Company has a lot more than tractors. They have REALLY great cast iron cookware and a lot of "farm" playsets, toys, and games. I found a builder game 2 yrs ago there and my son, now 6yrs, still plays with it. It is a lot of fun. Don't count them out :-)
TSC is most likely like our version of Farm and Fleet

Just because retailers are closing SOME stores (i.e. downsizing) does not make the gift cards worthless. For gift cards to be worthless, it needs to declare Chapter 7 (liquidation) bankruptcy. For some stores, that is a possibility. Still, I will redeem nearly any gift card I receive within days.
I never said they would be worthless, I stated be careful where you buy them, Thats a big difference. I do not do gift cards my self as I feel they are inpersonal but thats my choice.

Well I would say 95% on this list is true,
Eddie Baure is gone from this area as is the Disney store, CC is closing 155 stores, we no longer have a KB, Wilson's is also gone as is sharper image. There is a lot of truth to this.

Wal-mart will not bring it back because only 33% of people picked up layaways and took far too many expenses to get these little amount of sales!!!!
;)
well glad to know I was atleast one of 33% I know up until the stopped I had 2 500.00 plus layaways ayear and I never layawayed on Black friday. With four kids it saved me every year. I will tell you I sure do miss it this year more then ever

BE CAREFUL When BUYING GIFT CARDS this holiday.
It would be better to give cash or a present. Here's why. Stores across America are being scheduled to close after the Christmas season due to economic difficulties and bankruptcy. If the store closes, the gift cards would be no good. Here are some of the announced closings. Of course these companies would love you to give them money for a gift card that would be no good later on. Perhaps some home made jam or a $5 bill would be safer, since once a store declares bankruptcy they don't have to honor their gift cards. Better yet, give the gift of food storage.
