    Thanks all! I went and spoke to some employees today. They tried to see if they got them in, but said there was just so much stuff they couldn't tell. I was told they got them last year so I'm hoping they will again. I cannot imagine I will have the same luck as last year (at least I hope not!) I plan to arrive early just incase and will hopefully walk out w/ one of those pretty purple ones :D I will also have my hubby sitting infront of the computer to buy online just incase :g_laughin

    Brad, I missed it online last year too :no: Kept checking and it wasn't avail yet wasn't avail then BOOM! Sold out. I was thinking of seeing if my dh would stay up and check online while I wait at the store to cover all our basis. LOL

     

    We do have a Joanns but their cricut is the old one and not in a cute color. LOL :tongue1:

    I know this is prob a silly Q but hopefully the experts can help me. I tried to get this last year only to find out the store I went to didn't get any in (this was 30 mins after they opened, and no one knew what was going on) :mad: By that time, you can imagine, they were gone from every store I went to or called.

     

    Soooo... I don't want to miss it this year. It is part of the 12:01 am deals, what time do you think I need to get there? Do you think 10 pm will be sufficient? I really have no idea how popular these are.

     

    Also, should I expect to find them in the arts and crafts section where they are normally kept? Last year I was sent all over the store being told they were in electronics, crafts, toys, etc.

     

    I plan to go to the walmart I'm going to tonight or tomorrow and seeing if a mngr can confirm that they actually have them b/c I will be quite upset if I waste my time again as that was the only thing I wanted last year and so far is looking like the only thing I want this year.

     

    I appreciate any info or advice from someone who may have insider info or bought one last year. TIA

    WHEW! I've been sweating bullets and just got the email that my items have shipped :D They haven't re-charged my card yet, but I was so worried b/c of this thread.

     

    ddfoster1959 I wonder if that was a rare case? Still very weird, but it looks like it's going to work out for me. :)

    that's weird... I just checked my acct. A few days ago it had showed that it charged me for the Zunes I ordered plus the $1 pending, now both those charges are gone and the money was credited back to my account... I sure hope they don't cancel my order, I just checked it before I checked my bank account and it still said processing. *biting nails* really really hoping that they re-charge my acct. like stated above and finally get it shipped to me, it's been 6 days. :(

    Last year my grandmother was able to buy that stand mixer from Amazon for $150! You just need to keep looking, they will lower and raise their prices on the stand mixers and it also depends on what color you want. I am unsure where I heard this, but the Artisan is suppose to have a price drop so they shouldn't be $299.99 like they're being sold for. And no, it won't be refurbished unless they specify it. I just got one for $199 at Mervyn's, but it was the Heavy Duty Plus, I know when I was there yesterday, they still had some left, unsure if you have a Mervyn's near ya, it also came w/ a $10 MIR.

    ok I just found some site I think called BPBargins and it says that Dell Biz is selling brown zune for 96 dollars + free shipping, anyone know is this reliable place to order from, nothing refurbished or anything?

    Do you think I should hurry and order this or wait and see if it is cheaper somewhere Monday???

    You could go through dell.com to get that deal, and no it wasn't refurbished. I just checked though and it looks like it's selling for $200 now, the sale must have ended yesterday. If you can get it through that site you shouldn't have any issues as it should be coming through Dell. Good luck.

     

    herculesmomma, there should be free programs to download to convert files so they are usable on the Zune. I'm unsure if I'm allowed to post them here, but you're welcome to PM and I can forward you the link I found, or type it into Google and search (that's what I did.) I haven't gotten my Zune yet, so I cannot say that this works, but I know they state you can use it to get movies you own on DVD to play on the Zune. HTH

    My friend wanted the one from Target, but turns out they only had two and he didn't get either of them, well I saw this thread and told him about it. Apparently there was one at a store prob 20 miles from here. We ended up going out to eat and I talked him into stopping at the CC, one that said they were out of stock, as it was 7:30 PM. We looked around at the external hard drives, I even got on my hands and knees and crawled on the floor looking for that one. For some reason I honestly thought we'd find one... well guess what, I DID!!! :D It was the only one there shoved way back :) :yay:

    wow this brought back memories of those little bags Target used to give out years and years ago (like late 90s) and I remember our Target (from the midwest) even had coffee and donuts back then.

     

    That does suck that not many states were included... I wonder why? Doesn't matter, I didn't go there and won't be today.

    I'm so upset w/ Radio Shack, I went to get a Zune was first in line, we ask an employee if they have any and he said "don't worry we have enough for everyone" we get in there.. they didn't have one. :mad::mad::mad::mad: turns out that ONLY the mall stores got the Zune, what a crock, they should have put that in the ad as I was right next to the mall but came over close to me to do some other shopping. Shame on you Radio Shack :mad:

    I was able to get in on the Zune and now it's saying the same thing for that, what I believe is, the prices were released earlier than what they were suppose to and now they're pulling them until some time tomorrow.
