  1. The X-Box 360 is backwards compatible you just have to dowload patches online to play games, which does require the HDD. The patches are free though, so it doesn't cost you anything, just the minor inconvenience of downloading them.
  2. I still remember going to Wal-Mart at 10:00 P.M. on Black Friday out of boredom and them still having pallets and pallets of their doorbusters. They really are just pathetic now. Oh well. I have confidence that whatever they do have I may consider purchasing, will be there when I drive past them on my way home.
  3. They have some pretty good deals this year. Definitely want the digital photo frame. The one we bought last year for my grandfather has worked out great. Great DVD deals and the toys seem pretty good too.
  4. Coming up $600+ for me too. Wish it was 199.99 I would jump on that in a second.
  5. Thank you so much!!! I almost bought this was retail today, but decided to wait. Glad I did!
  6. Only thing I missed out on was the Jensen iPod clock radio from Target, wasn't on the list but DH mention during CHECKOUT that he wanted one. Ran back there and the crowd around electronics was 30 people deep atleast. But I got everything else I wanted!
  7. The WM here at 10:00 P.M. still had pallets of all the blitz items with the exception of the computer deals and the Plasma/42" deals. Which I didn't expect to see. I didn't expect to waltz in there and get everything that was on sale early that morning. They wouldn't PM either. Was talking to a woman in lind at Target before they opened and when the manager refused her PM items from BB, CC, and TRU she said she just left it all sit. That's so sad. I really expected better of Wal-Mart.
  8. I went to the TRU in my mom's city this year...which I usually have a NIGHTMARE at. Got there pretty early, but the new manager came out, briefed the crowd, handed out tickets for the Wii and answered all my questions about where things we located. Got 2 cart loads of stuff, checked out and got in line at Target by 5:20.

The only way you would get it for less is trying the gaming stores that take trade ins. I just traded mine in for the Wii. a lot of people trade them in mint with all the accessories. I see them go here for around $100 used.
  10. http://www.puremobile.com/ or EBay would be your best bet. PureMobile carries GSM phones which will work on Cingular and TMobile. Ebay would have Razrs that would work o Verizon or Sprint. Just make sure you buy one "carrier" compatible. The wireless companies "lock" them to their service. Phones are unfortunately not cheap without a contract, but you can get lucky. I nabbed my Razr on EBay for $90 without a contract in February.
  11. Yeah, the non-company owned retail channels do not honor "upgrades" for existing wireless customers. I deal with that a lot working for a wireless carrier. What WM or BB gets paid out is much more significant for a brand new line than a renewal. Don't ask me why. If you go to a company owned you get the same price as a new customer. It's all in how the carrier has there commision structure for resalers.
  12. I am really hoping the XBox 360 or Nintendo DS is going on Blitz. Maybe WM caught wind of the overwhelming vote for the $100 360 core system on Amazon.com a girl can dream atleast! Just hope it's something worth waiting in line with dinner for.
  13. As far as I can tell it is AC powered. In my searches for one the only I have found is the PhotoShare branded one that is available at Wal-Mart. I would just check it out in store, that information *should* be listed on the box. Hope that helps!
  14. Unless someone has a high speed BlackBerry or Treo trying to browse gottadeal.com would be painful if not impossible to do on a cell phone. But you can use the e-mail address associated with your phone number through your carrier to get the e-mail alerts sent to you.
  15. I went into mine today and was looking for a My First LeapPad and they are completely missing. Got the same response "don't know when we will have them" saw a lot of black wrapped pallets though.
