I ordered the bundle through Barnes & Noble. Immediately after ordering, I got an email that it would ship the next day. Then I looked at the order tracking, which said shipment date of 1/5/07. I emailed and said obviously this is a Christmas present, 1/5/07 is not acceptable. Got an email back saying that date was wrong and they hoped to ship by mid December. THEN, I got an email saying all portions of the bundle except the system were backordered 30 days. Yesterday, I got an email saying the entire bundle had shipped. I have no idea whether it is on the way or not, but I am hoping!

My son really, really wants this for Christmas, but does not want most of the games that are choices for the 8 games included. I am holding off buying this package because of that 8 game requirement, but might be tempted if the games could be returned. I am hoping there are better package choices available down the road. I hate to spend $700 plus with shipping and taxes when half of it is stuff that will never be played with. Anyone else holding off for this reason? Are others getting the impression that this system will be more widely available after release?

I am excited about joining this site. I have already ordered from two of the listings of hot deals! I love to save $$$$!!
