Can I ask for a Cables For Dummies primer? lol We are getting our first ever nice TV this week. Our local tv shop is getting in a nice lcd to compare against a plasma Wednesday. Which ever we get will be a 1080P. We have standard tv (analog) cable too.
We have a PS2, Wii. So what all cables will we need?

Good idea. Okay, just checked and it does show it coming. I'll call back later (6 am here) and see if they got it. If not, I'll keep checking. Sounds like a snow storm on the way here which anymore is a big deal in this part of Illinois so ........... lol

I'm not seeing anyone showing the whole outfit for the PS2, just the game now. Before the sites I checked showed the special edition with guitar, drums and mike.
Are they just releasing the game on the 18th then?

hmmm. Okay, try logging in separately to your paypal account. Have to make sure your name, address and email address are identical. Then once you do that, try again.

I did at first, be sure to check the box authorizing meritline (or whatever its called) to credit your account. The box is mixed in by the credit card info slot. Make sure the paypal box is checked as well.
After doing that mine went through fine and I received confirmation from both this company and paypal.

Just to give my experience with the Compaq Laptop; I had bought one, it went in for over heating issues twice the first year. After that it burned out the motherboard - no warranty. Then when my daughter said her boyfriends did the same thing I did some research online and found this is not unusual with the Compaq.
So please research your model to see what problems are being reported. I have a $650 paperweight

Researched the big doorbuster tv and it got all thumbs down. Typical.
Sad thing is I'm an hour away from any other big store. So guess I'll be in my jammies waiting to see what Best Buy has online.

Yes the effective date of the ad is January 28th, so it is this Sunday
It has been their procedure to release limited release items on the day the ad starts unless otherwise stated.

I just got my new Walmart ad and the Wii is in it and the effective date of the ad is Jan. 28th. Sorry I can't scan for you. It says minimum of 5 per store, limit one per customer.

Try JC Penny's. I was at one yesterday and the coats are 70% off (including Columbia!).

We got two Wii's and one quit working and I got the advanced replacement. I called last Tuesday and the replacement arrived Friday by UPS. They do ask for the Credit Card Number in case you don't return the original unit.

Wii Music: Just picked up this link. Click on it in your Wii Browser and you can listen to music on your Wii. Frankly, not sure why you would want to but you can lol

Sure hate to hear this. They bought out Marshall Fields in Chicago and vicinity and it created quite an uproar when they tore down the historic old building signs and replaced them with the Macy's logo. Now they are closing stores? What a shame they don't have better management to meet the needs of the area shoppers.

Our friends had their wii set up last night with the Wii Sports loaded and it was the hit of the party. It entertained everyone from age 10 to 50 with people lining up to play lol Funny to see the 20-somethings complaining of sore arms and shoulders lol

Yep, got that much for this blog and will order from the monoprice that everyone likes here.
But still need to know which cables to get so when we get the tv we can hook up everything.
