They had Star Wars light sabers mixed in with the costumes for 7.99 regular price and I got them at 50%. I am not sure the difference between those and the ones in the toy dept, but my kids won;t care:)

I went at 9am today and I managed to get some Little Pet shop halloween animals and they Pumpkin Kelly doll for 2.49. I got some napkins and the last bag of Ziploc bags in Halloween stuff. They were surprisingly picked over for it to be so early. I also snagged a Glitter Doodle Bear for 4.98 and extra pens for 1.74. They had Cabbaga Patch clothes for 2.43 and I grabbed 2 lightsabers for the boys for like $4. All in all I would say, a good Target day.

I got the Mr Potato Head pumpkin sets for $1.24. The Halloween dept was in an uproar as the employees were moving everything around and condensing it down to a couple of aisles. Looks like they were getting ready for clearance!! Any idea if they start at 30% and work down or go straight to a higher %, say 50% or more?

Also had Cheetah girls dressup set with a skirt and leopard print shawl for 2.48

My Target seems to have a strange clearance shedule lately. Toys that have been on clearance forever are still 30% and others go straight to 75% On Sunday when I was there they had the Dora Styling SAlon Chair thing from the new Dora line, marked to 10.48. Today I looked and it was only 3.74. In the Halloween department everything but the costumes are still full price, or so I thought. On one endcap mixed with toys, they had the Mr Potato Head pumpkin decorating kits marked 50% to 2.48.

They were on an endcap mixed in with other toys that were only 30%. I checked another Target and they are all still full price.

I got some Nutripals snack bars marked to $3.48 and I used a @ coupon so it was only $1.48. I also found a Dora talking Cash Register marked down 75% to $9.97. They also had the Diego talking rescue center for $9.97 as well.

I was told today by several very rude Target employees that the policy has changed. They have recently become aware of how many people are using so many coupons and they have decided to stop allowing the use of both Target and Manufacturer coupons. From now on if you have over 10 coupons the manager must approve them. When I asked to see where it says this new info I was treated like I was trying to steal from them. I just figure if they have a new policy it must have been sent out in a memo or an email or something. If that is the deal fine but I just got the impression that they didnt want to do it. I have never been so mad at Target and I left there practically in tears.

Does Kmart charge for their layaway?

I got there at 3:00 today and they were completely out of Playdoh already:( I was going to get some crayons just because I was there but the registers were out because they had the power go out while we were there. Oh well!

Finally! I found the Doodle Bear babies at my Target today for $3.72!! I got the last 2 they had there but I still need one more. The SuperTarget still wants $7.44 and said that they have no say in when the prices drop, its up to corporate and they have no idea when they will be allowed to go to 75%. The manager said they have no set day for toys or anything its just whenever corporate sends word. I thought that last part was weird but oh well:)

The recall on Polly Pockets is not due to lead poisoning this time. The Polly Pockets that are recalled are the ones that contain magnets. Apparently if a child swallows a magnet it can cause internal damage. My daughter is gonna have a fit when her Pollys disappear. Six to 8 weeks is a long time to have to wait to replace her toys.

This is driving me nuts! This is the one toy I wanted that I havent got yet. Everything else seems to be 75% off except this. I want it for $3.74 not $7.44. My husband thinks I am nuts:cheesy:

I am sooo bummed that they did not mark the toys farther this week. The only thing I really want is the Doodle Bears and they still have a TON left for $7.44 (50%). I have watched them forever and now they have been moved to a new aisle of clearance. Hopefully this means the price is going down this week and I am going on vacation!!! Not sure I can convince my hubby I need to leave the beach to find a Target!

I went to the Target in New Port Richey, FL this weekend and I spent tons of money, mostly on toys. I found the Aquadoodle puzzle mat for $4.98 and the travel Aquadoodle for $3.72. I also got a couple of Fairytopia barbies for $3.62 and a spinning paint thing for $3.74. I have been waiting for the 75% off and this is the only store anywhere near me that has done it. Unfortunately there were not a lot marked down to 75% but what I got was some of what I was waiting on. The cashier told me that this store is one of the first in the area to mark their stuff down so I am hoping that more stores follow soon. I was at another Target today and there were employees in the toy dept with their guns and a cart full of signs. I was hoping that today was their day to mark stuff down more. When I went back to that same store this evening, they had moved a lot of toys to their own clearance aisle but none of the prices have changed I am hoping maybe tomorrow.

So if they a getting ready for a big reset as someone said, does that mean we should wait until Wednesdays to check, per the schedule on the 1st page of this, or check back before that? I have my eye on a ton of stuff that is still at 30% and I don't want to miss anything by waiting too long.

Were the air fresheners and cleaning items with the holiday stuff or on an endcap in the cleaning supply aisle area?

I just had to vent... I sent my hubby out this morning to get my paper and to my surprise, there is no Walmart ad in the paper!!!! I am so mad:mad: I have seen the ad scans online but I like looking at the ad itself. Has anyone got their ad today?

My Target has some new stuff in the one spot area. They had one aisle full of pretend food sets and cooking toys. I got little chef hats and pot holder sets and aprons for my kids. They had Dairy Queen and Keebler food sets. They also had mini appliances for the kids, toaster, blender,etc... My kids love this stuff, so I bought a lot!!!

I dont want to seem dumb, but what exactly is this list? Is it a specific stores clearance list or is it a list of what all Targets should have on clearance at any 1 time?
