I'm a Kohls MVC and I didn't get this. I got a set of coupons with a 15%, a 20%, and a $10 off $30, but they all expire by Nov 24.

After a google search, I found code LUVKC15 which is for 15% off and doesn't expire until 11/30. Lets hope something better comes along, but if not at least we have a 15% to use on line.

I just got Kohls cash yesterday and it expires 11/27.

I purchased a step2 set on walmart.com for $69. I think they also have the same kitchen with some food accessories for a little more money. This same set seems to be more expensive everywhere else so I grabbed it now. The reviews on this set were great.

Did you earn the $10 giftcard from a previous purchase? Or did you earn it for this purchase and also use it at the same time? I also heard Costco has the L-Max with case for $89.99.

I had the same dilema as you, and I opted for the newer one. It looks like the newer one will be a big sale item this christmas. Target already has it for $79.99 with there toybook coupon. The regular leapster is still stuck around $49.99 so I decided to spend the extra $30. I think my daughter will love the feature of playing the games on the tv.

I think you should be able to do better than that. Walmart and Target have them for $49.95 regular price. I think Walmart black friday ad also has it as a package deal with 3 games as well. I was going to get the Leapster and told myself I wouldnt settle for less than $45. But instead I picked up the L-Max for $75 at TRU friends and family night, combined with the $5 off $25 coupon.

I did it last year and wont do it again. People waited in a nice orderly line then they opened the doors. OMG. The people handing out GC were in the center of the store so it was a mad rush to get to them first. People first in line would not get a card if they didnt run the fastest. It was total chaos. I wont do it again. It was not worth it!

A word of advice - I think mason jars are a popular item at Christmas so I would buy them early. I made the cookies last year and bought the last 4 mason jars from Michaels craft store. The entire aisle of them were all sold out.

I bought the L-Max at TRU with the friends and family coupon combined with the $5 off $25 coupon. Total cost was $75. I am hoping someone beats that price, but if not I will be happy with what I paid. Looks like TRU on line dropped the price to $89.99 which is the same price K-Mart has it on sale for this week. Also, I believe all Leapster games are compatible with the L-Max. The reverse is also true however you may lose some features of the game that are only able to work when connected to the TV.

In my state stores are not allowed to open on Thanksgiving. I remember a few years back KMart honored the sale ad the day before thanksgiving. Not sure if they still do it, but may be worth a try for anyone who lives in a state where stores cant open.

I got the Shout About Movies during the TRU BOGO sale. So they only cost $10 each. However I have seen some bad reviews about the game only being able to be played 3 times before you are repeating questions. Is this true?

I would check the boxes. Every box I have checked so far for the L-Max games has said it is also compatible on the Leapster. Anyone know if all the older Leapster games are available for L-Max? Some of the Leapster game boxes say they can be used on L-Max, but some of them dont. Is it just because some of the software boxes are old, before L-Max was around? And the games will still work?

Does anyone have any predictions on how low of a price we will get on this game this year? I think the lowest it went last year was $24. Just in case, I picked up the Harry Potter one at Toys R Us this week for $29.99 minus the $5 off $25 coupon. Will someone beat $25??????? I hope so......
