I too put the scadisc mp3 on layaway at walmart. This one is better then the muvo walmart had on sale it has an FM tuner and the muvo didn't. that was the kicker for me.

I have a verizion prepaid. It is 99 cents a day charge. free in calling and night calling and 10 cents a minute all other calls. So if you call only in calls its only 99 cents a day. I see they now have the verizion phones at walmart, I got my phone at the verizion store for much more than u can get them at verizon.

I have to pay sales tax with Amazon too, I live in NY we are taxed for breathing.

I have Vonage and for the most part like it but I am going to get a local only landline, if my internet is down I lose my phone. You can set it up to ring to another line if it is down and have it set to cellphone but w/ a teenage daughter on the family plan I am a minute watcher..lol...but the Vonage is well worth the money. I pay just a little over 35/month.
