  1. So far this seems to be the best deal.

    Sears

    Sony 32" Class LCD HDTV (Model KDL-32L504) - $379.99

    Sylvania 37" LC370SS9 LCD HDTV - $399.99

    VIZIO 32" ECO HDTV (Model VO320E) - $349.99

AOC 32" Full HD LCD TV - $379.99

    K-Mart

    Element 26" LCD HDTV (Model # 26LE30Q) - $249.99

    Sony Bravia L Series 32" Class 720p LCD HDTV (Model # KDL32L504) - $379.99

    More to come I'm sure

You can get that Vizio right now for that price at Costco.com

  2. The three games I picked each said 3 for 2 on the page when I clicked on the game, but when I go to checkout, it is charging me for all three and not mentioning the special. Does it do it at the very end? In the past, it has reflected any special before I selected my charge card.

The very last page before you click "submit order" (the page that shows everything shipping methods on the left, costs on the right, etc.).

  3. Selected games only (but the selection is somewhat large). Better than TRU for me as it included free shipping and no tax. Add 3 video games and the lowest price item will be deducted during checkout (you need to go to the last page of checkout to confirm that you are getting the deal).

From the link, click on any game and look for the "3 for 2 deal on the page." This will tell you if the game qualifies. I ordered 3 of the same game and had no issues.

  4. Got back from Home Depot a little while ago. Scored the 4 piece Ryobi cordless set for $60 (chose the $70 cordless hammer drill as the free item), the Ryobi bench grinder for $20, and the 6 LED flashlight set for $10. No problems at all.
  5. Yes, I love the headlines: "Will Black Friday save retail this year?"

Answer: NO. The deals aren't as good. Even though there will be plenty of people out there on BF, that doesn't mean that they will be buying. Anyone plan on spending more (or even the same) as last year?

Remember - even a small decline of say, 3% in sales year-over-year is catastrophic in the retail industry.

  6.:( That makes me... a true Apple Fan and stock holder sad. :( I have an iPhone, iPod, and almost every Mac they have ever come out with. Can't go wrong with an iPod. Plus, they still have 75% of the market! :) GO APPLE! :smart:

Let me know when Apple starts updating the firmware of their older iPods to have the same features as the new iPods. Microsoft already does that, yes that Micro$oft.

  7. Well I would say 95% on this list is true,

Eddie Baure is gone from this area as is the Disney store, CC is closing 155 stores, we no longer have a KB, Wilson's is also gone as is sharper image. There is a lot of truth to this.

Just because retailers are closing SOME stores (i.e. downsizing) does not make the gift cards worthless. For gift cards to be worthless, it needs to declare Chapter 7 (liquidation) bankruptcy. For some stores, that is a possibility. Still, I will redeem nearly any gift card I receive within days.

  8. Compare this Best Buy ad to other BF ads - past and present.

Rate it as it stands now. Do not consider maybes such as "there will be deals announced later," etc.

  9. But right now for 899.99 you can get a HP Pavillion on there website with a 17in screen and a bigger HD and dedicated video memory card. Do I want to wait 24 hours for a sony vaio with a small hd, small screen, and a free bond movie..

Nobody lines up for a $900 laptop - just get it on Friday evening (if you wanted it) or order it online.
