I will probably be in Peru, IL. Our small town just has a Kmart with a WalMart slated to start building in our town starting in October. So next year I will probably stay in my small town.

I usually go out for breakfast when were done. Usually by 9-10AM I am pooped and ready for breakfast then home...

Where I work for 10 years we had that day off as a paid holiday. Then last year the company screwed us and now we either have to take it as a Floating Holiday or Vacation day. So this year I took it as a vacation day. We also used to get Christmas Eve off also as a paid holiday. Not anymore. So again, I have to use a vacation day.

Last year I thru out my $3.98 no name coffee pot I had brought from Wal Mart BF 2004. The thing worked like a charm. But I wanted a "New and Improved" one so I went with a Mr. Coffee coffee maker. I have gone thru 2 Mr. Coffee makers in the past year:( Go figure.

I have to see what my DD9 would want and see the ad's and go from there. She is the only 10 year old who wants bedding and domestics for her birthday (Oct 25) and Christmas...

My friend and I are starting out at Target this year. The past 2 years we went to WalMart...there isn't much in the WalMart Ad we want but loads in Target. So we will start at Target this year. According to www.target.com their stores open at 6am on Black Friday. And with a WalMart next door to the Target we are going to...we will line up early. Because people from WalMart will come over after their done. So we are planning on being there early.

Ozzie, You are correct. Cover it under your homeowners policy... Yes, the store will say the extended warranty covers "Everything". They will say that to get you to buy it and the person taking your money may be getting a bonus for how many people they get to sign up for it. READ THE FINE PRINT of the warranty brochere before you buy it. You will be suprised what "Everything" doesn't cover....

DO NOT DO NOT DO NOT Buy any extended warranty for any ITEM! It is a WASTE of money! All that warranty will cover is NORMAL WEAR AND TEAR. If you drop it, dog pee's on it, get a virus on your laptop it will NOT BE COVERED! I work for an office supply company and you will not belive the calls I get from people who brought the bogus extended warranty and think all of the above and more would be covered. And then argue with you when it isn't. SAVE YOUR MONEY!

This was my 1st year setting up a Christmas Club account thru my employers credit union. I have a certain amt taken from each paycheck and Nov 1 the checks are ready to be mailed. I am going to have the check mailed to my mother. That way she can hold on to it till the Wednesday before Thanksgiving then cash it. Otherwise I might spend it on other things....

The Kohl's near me opened up last October so last year I went their the 1st time on Black Friday. I did get some toys and some cute Christmas decorations all at 40-50% off. This year my friends and I will caucus and see where to start our BF shopping:)

Our SuperCenter just opened in August and I am wondering what they are going to do this year. I think the fairest thing to do is close at 1am and reopen and give EVERYONE an even playing field... But yes, I do get annoyed when people are waiting in line outside for an hour and when the store opens people arriving cut in line...
