  1. I think you have 14 days from the time of purchase for a price adjustment, if you don't have a receipt they can look up via your CC or check (I don't think they can do cash) and adjust that way. They will give you 10% of the price back.....you probably should go this week since its on sale for this week, they won't give it to you next week when its not on sale.

Wow, you are so lucky!! Not one of the 3 Targets in my area will do price adjustments. I had purchased my DD's bookbag on a Saturday and it went on sale the next day. I called and asked if they would do an adjustment, they told me the only thing I could do was return the backpack and re-buy it.

  2. My best deal today was a combination of a sale price and a Target coupon. I don't know if this has been mentioned but Target has Kraft shredded cheese on sale for $1.66. There is a current target coupon for 75 cents, bringing it down to 91 cents for an 8 oz. bag. Lots of shredded cheese going in my freezer today!

I believe that there is currently a manufacturer's coupon for $1 off any 2 Kraft cheese products. .91 for 2 bags... so much for staying out of Target, lol.

  3. NannyMouse and Comm402 - Howell, Target is also my store. :) Though, I haven't been in a week or so, I am trying to be good. As my sweet husband doesn't appreciate my bargins.

I'm trying to be good as well but I don't think it is going to work out. I am watching the little girls Hello Kitty clothes. They were 50% off on friday and I'm hoping they go just a little lower.

  4. I've always found the best deals at my local library's used book store. Kid's paperbacks for a quarter, adult for 50 cents, etc. You may want to check and see if your area library has one.

I love the book sales at the library. We picked up Harry Potter books 1 thru 5 for .50 each. All hardcover and in perfect condition.

  5. just returned from my Howell NJ target - couple of end caps in toys marked down including a double pack of my little ponies for 6xx- had quite of few, chat now phones 19xx, bratz babyz wild hair also 6xx . Quite a bit of electronics has sold since I was there friday still 1 xm radio receiver, lots of ipod cases a couple of sony alarm clock cd players, tvs all gone.

I did find and buy 2 mm grape juices 69 cents as well as an outfit for my niece the hk scooter and matching tops for 4.88 each. This was only 30% savings, but she loves to dress as a girl and well worth for me

What are you doing in my Target, lol? Thanks for the tip on the Bratz. DD loves them so I spend the whole year collecting them for the holidays. Keep an eye on the scooters, they had the easter ones for 75% off. We ended up getting a pink one, a white one, and a denim skirt all for under $5.

  6. My DS works at the park, he is sitting here reading this and here is what I am being told... In the season pass coupon books there are "bring a friend free" coupons. Using my family as the example I'll try to explain this as best I can. We have 7 family members which means I could use 7 of the "bring a friend" coupons. 1 guest free for each season pass holder. This can only be done once per day per season pass. Also there are certain days that the coupons cannot be used however for our park the restricted days are for "buyouts". These are days that the park is "rented" for a major company for an employee only day. Depending upon your family size and how often you plan on visiting this may work out well for you. I could buy 3 season passes and use 3 of the coupons and my whole family could go for the price of the 3 season passes which would still be cheaper than paying for 6 daily admissions.

Here is a breakdown of the coupons and their restrictions but remember this is for the Jackson, NJ park. Yours may be different but at least you get an idea. Oh, one more thing, you will get a coupon book with each pass purchased.

  7. My son works at Six Flags, he had told me about the price at the beginning of the season. Its an "early bird" price from what I understand. I do believe that the promotion ends soon though. Also I think that the Coke cans have a coupon on them for an amount off the purchase of a season pass. I seem to recall the coke rewards website having coupons you could print as well. Hope this helped.
  8. The only time I have ever gotten any Build A Bear coupons is in the mail. Every couple of months I get a small catalog from them and it usually has a $5 off your $25 purchase coupon on it. They also will send a postcard out around the kids birthdays with a coupon on it. I get emails from them all the time and the only ones I have ever gotten with coupons is the one you get for having met your spending requirement. They also sent one for a free "birthday cupcake" on the first birthday of all the bears we have.
  9. You can renew your account after 1 yr. It doesn't cost you anything. Look on the home page to renew.

I must be missing it. My DD wants one of these and after checking out the site and reading the renewal information I convinced her to stay with Neopets. I will give them credit, they have a good little thing going to keep their sales up.

Each Webkinz™ comes with one year's access to Webkinz World™. When your account expires you will have 14 days to renew your account, after which you will no longer be able to access your Webkinz account. Don't worry, all of your current pets, items, rooms and KinzCash will all be kept in perfect shape for you for a minimum of 30 days from the date your account expired.

Currently, you can only renew your account on Webkinz World by purchasing a new Webkinz™ or Lil' Kinz™ toy and adopting it as a pet. Remember both types of pet give you the same one year access and all the same, great benefits

  10. I agree its a freedom of speech bt that site got nasty.I think it crosses the fine line of moral decentness .Maybe it shouldnt be viewed by the public.I have views on alot of things but would never stand up in a crowed room and express them in front of that person. Its just rude...As far as the free choxie coupon it should of stated limited 1 per person.PPl would of been less likely to come back everyday several times a day just for a free candy bar.JMO.

Now this I will disagree with. How many times have all of us used a second email address to get a second internet coupon to get a great deal? I would guess that just about everyone here has picked up and extra sunday paper for that 2nd rag shop or michaels coupon. Yes, people will still take advantage even if the coupon is marked limit 1 per person. Why else would we take our husbands shopping with us? To use the second coupon of course!!!

  11. Not to be ugly......

But I think this is their way to vent. We all have a way to vent. Yes, it is public, but it is their site. We know they have an opinion, just like they know we have one.

I really don't care!!!! If they want to whine and complain about me getting such good deals, oh well, the cashier's job is to take my money, that's ALL. So far I have not had any problems and I don't expect any.

I guess I am trying to say is that I don't care if they want to talk about me as a customer because when you get down to brass tax, customers are the reasons the cashiers have their jobs. They just take our money. I don't know these people on the target forum, so I say let them rant and rave because we still get great savings so matter how much they vent.

I agree, let them say what they want about people getting good deals. They forget that the company they work for are the ones who allow the consumer to get these deals. I can also partly understand some of the things they are venting about.

I've worked in retail and some of the things that customers do are just plain nasty. Which is why I left retail and sought employment somewhere that I wouldn't have to clean bathrooms that animals would snub their noses at, or clean pickles off a store window after mom and dad allowed their kids to toss them on there, or to have to clean up after some little brat whose mom thought it was cute that he pulled down an entire display that I spent 1/2 hour putting up. If the only thing a Target employee can say about me is that I've used to many coupons and got too much for free, I take it as a compliment. It proves I'm a smart shopper.

  12. nope, that's it! Thank you so much. They had 4, but I had no clue what it was. I only bought one, and it would have been perfect for nieces and nephews for Christmas.

And thanks Comm402. That is a cool feature. Of course, there is only one at my nearest, but the Target I love that is much further away has them all. Do you know what I would search for to find the top and other pieces?

If I recall I have seen them at either Michaels or AC Moore. I was talking to DH about getting them and he reminded me that Target also had these last year. They were on an endcap on clearance and now here they are back in store again and on clearance again. I believe they are made by Jetmax. Good Luck in your quest.

  13. Are the craft cubes part of the build your own desk thingy? Mine only had a few pieces left. It looks so neat, and is EXACTLY what I've been looking for, but it's still pretty expensive to get it built up. Any idea when they will get cheaper?

If you go to Target.com and type in craft cubes as your search they come right up. These are the white 12 x 12 cubes that you build and they stack to make a desk or a wall unit. I was in 1 Target and they were $17.xx but at another they were $12.47. They only have 1 clearance sticker on them right now so I would think they will be getting marked down again sometime soon.

  14. Stopped in Target tonight, I got some good deals in cosmetics. Most things were 50% off or better. They still have the craft cubes at 50% off for $12.74. All the clearance linens were 50% off. All the perfume dift packs were also 50% or more off. I did get the iHome H5 for $88 even though the one in the ad was the H3 so DD is happy. I'm wondering if it was mismarked because the shelf tag below it read $129.99.
  15. I have had Vonage for over a year now and I would highly recommend it.

The 911 issue you are speaking of is no longer a problem (has not been since I got them over a year ago). You simply have to type in your address when you set up Vonage so that when you dial 911 it knows where to route it to.

Huh, thats funny because they just had a 911 problem in the past week with a call being routed to Canada. The only reason I even know about it is because it was posted in the radio room I work in. The report also said they are only 94% compliant with giving their customers E911 service. They even operate a call center for their customers who do not yet the service.

  16. The only one I know anything about is Vonage. I have a friend that has it and her phone is forever cutting out. They also have 911 issues and just settled a lawsuit. Here is part of the article that was posted at dispatch monthly online on 1/30/07.

VoIP provider Vonage Inc. has agreed to pay the state of Texas and five other states $500,000 to settle the states' lawsuit brought in 2005 over deceptive sales practices for VoIP residential service. The state had contended that Vonage did not adequately explain to customers the limitations of VoIP when customers dialed 911, and thereby offering a reduced level of public safety.

  17. Here's one for the ladies, 22 cents Covergirl makeup. Go the makeup area, then the Covergirl section. On the bottom shelf (at my Target anyway) there is Covergirl Outlast All Day Liquid Makeup. It is regular $8.99, but it is marked down to $2.22 - and there is a $2 coupon attached - making it only 22 cents.

Great find, I'm going to have to check that out when I go back tonight. I noticed that the Physicians Formula makeup is also on clearance and I have coupons for it so I should make out good.
