  1. i have a 4th and 5th grade child. the big hit was pictionary. which is something simple and easy. you only need to come up with about 20 or so ideas for the "pictures". also musical chairs was a good time filler. =)
  2. i first thought maybe it was just a skin also. but he insists a special deal w/the madden 13 game. thank you for the website....but they dont have the team we are looking for. i will keep searching. if anyone sees the commercial and can get more info for me i would appreciate it =)
  3. my son told me of a commercial he saw that offered "your choice of team nfl controller". he said it was for the madden 13 game. something about in the commercial the guy that won while playing the game said "it must be becuz of this lucky ravens controller" and showed the controller w/the ravens team symbol on it. and then said you could get any nfl team. we have yet to see this commercial again. and i cannot find ANYTHING regarding this online.

has anyone else seen this or have info on it???

  4. my kids are getting ipod touches for the first time this christmas. i was really hoping for a good deal on the new 5th generation but have yet to come across one. my kids are 9 1/2 & 11 so a bit older than yours. but im thinking the 4th generation is gonna be fine for them. and the prices are GREAT!! the only reason i would NOT go through apple directly is the warranty. from what i understand you only get the 1 year warranty. if you purchase it through walmart or target you get the 1 yr from apple, and can purchase an additional 2 yrs from the store for under $10!!
  5. makeup is always something i shy away from buying. the color choices, brands, and etc are soooo different for each individual person. if i where you i would stick to mascara (the black/brown color works for everyone), flavored lip balm, nail polish, maybe a small nail kit. and whatever hair things you pick out. put it all in a cute makeup bag or small purse. include a gift card for makeup purchase if you want.
  6. Targets boots will be vinyl and same quality as walmart, cheap. If list price isnt near 100, youre wasting your money

i understand that. but some just want them for the "fashion trend" and are willing to deal with the $30 vinyl ones. you and i however prefer the real deal and pay for the quality. just wanted to give the poster another option i had come across.

  7. i see they are opening at 9p. do they stay open all night then?? i have yet to venture to target for black friday, and i dont need a "doorbuster" item. but, thinking if i go around 11-midnight hopefully the "rush" will be over and i can get in and out quickly.
  8. agree with previous poster!! dont buy the cheap-o ones. they wont last long and in the end you will regret getting them. we paid close to $70 for my 9 yr olds boots. she wears them ALOT, they are almost a year old and still look FANTASTIC!!! we got her JUSTIN gypsy boots at a farm supply store. try countryoutfitters.com they have some good coupons if you sign up for their email and usually free shipping.

ETA: please dont guess on the size of the boots. they run totally different than other shoes and/or boots. unfortunately, this will have to be one of the things she tries on and knows is her gift.......unless your store is close by for a quick exchange =)

  9. if that is there black friday sale.....kind of disappointing. they run either 50% off or buy 1get1 free (same sale just worded different lol) quite frequently =(
