I see I am not the only one that dislikes TRU! Target will get my toy money this year.

I called my TRU today and asked if they had all the games and stuff for the GBA bundle pack offered right now for 99.82. They did and told me I could have a blue or pink GB. I was excited, I wanted the pink. Soooo I drive out of my way to pick it up.......When I get there all Hell broke loose Walking talkies were going off, managers being called, fingers being pointed! I said I wanted the pink one since I was told I could have it, I drove out for that specific reason. The manager wanted the name of the person who told me this ( his name was Josh) I wasn't gonna tell them. The manager did everything but call me a liar. I said, if I tell you who told me do I get the pink one? They said no. I said , if I tell you does the person who told me get into trouble? They said yes! Now why would I get him in trouble?????? Of course everyone is looking at me like I was a crazy woman lol, but I was PO'd. I bought it, went to the desk and told the manager he was a F..... I can't believe I did that!!! I feel bad now but geeeeeze, I hate TRU now grrrrrrrrrrrrr

I was told to just keep all my sales ads (including walmart's) and I could bring it in anytime by Dec 8th and they will adjust the price. S. Illinois

Okay, hubby checked in back and saw the 20" symphonic TVs covered and FP something lol he couldn't tell what it was grrrrrrr. He is going back today, I might have more info later. :)

I just called my walmart (S. Illinois) and they will be open on Thanksgiving. She said they will just wheel out the pallets around 5a.m. for the BF sale.

I have my spy glasses, rubber gloves and note pad..........bring it on!

IF I could give ya a "high five" I would lol:yup: I was in TRU the other day and the lady in front of me was counting out change to pay for a Cars race track, I gave her one of my $5 off coupons. I thought she was gonna cry. Then since I took so long to add match I gave the lady behind me a coupon as well. I left TRU feeling pretty darn good. I LOVE Christmas!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

My husband is a vendor , so he just told me tonight that he has seen a lot of stuff in the back of walmart:eek: Hot wheel 5 packs, tv's marked"not to be displayed until 11/24" He spoke to the receiver and she said the "secret" stuff comes off of the truck and goes "covered" to the trailers in the back of walmart! Nobody but management is to know what is "under the covers." He is gonna check in the back room tomorrow and see what else he can find out. I'll let you all know.

I think they are all closing, the one here will be closed by Jan. 07. There are some good deals now but they should get better by Dec. I am not a big K's fan, but if the price is right!

K's Merchandise is closing in my area ( So. Illinois) and they had tons of Barbie TMX elmo's ($19.97)and FP pink digital cameras ($52.00) and 25% off of everything.

I went tonight and bought my daughter 2 pairs of jeans and 5 shirts. Paid $85 and saved $95 I didn't even have a coupon, I just told them I forgot mine:smart:

All the BF ads I have seen so far STINK! Unless Target surprises me, I too will be sleeping in this year. Sounds crazy, but I was looking forward to getting up and seeing if I can get the best deals I could, compared to last year. IMO Walmart wasted their money even printing an ad this year lol Oh well, Guess I could use the beauty sleep.

I'm in Illinois, and the ad was different when it came out last year, compared to the one I saw online. Some things were the same but many things were not.

I can't get mine to print, the only part that prints is the top that says 12% off. The top blue box.

It has been my experience that what you see on sale now, will not get any cheaper later. I have bought many Barbies and Bratz dolls before the Big Book came out for cheaper than advertised now. I even bought ps2 game Madden 07 from best buy for 27.99. There is no way I would find it cheaper later on. Amazon has the dvd Over the hedge for 14.87 now. Cheapest I have seen so far. BF is a blast, enjoy!!!!!

I used mine last night without a problem. So I printed off several more! I asked them when they were opening on BF and he thought it was 4am!! (Southern Illinois)

Hey, I live in so IL also. I asked the layaway lady if they would price adjust something I had on layaway if it was on sale on BF. She asked her manager and she told me that all I needed to do was bring in the sales ad, when I pick up my lawaway on Dec 8th, and they will adjust the price then. Sounds weird, but I got the managers name just in case.
