I always tell thim they have it at a lower price to make sure they have adjusted it. 9 times out of 10, they had NOT done the adjustment. It's better to be safe than sorry, especially with layaway being phased out. Whose to say they will run the audits that adjust the prices when they go down. Make sure you check all the competitors ads as well because you can have your items pricematched while they are in layaway too.

They usually have the daily specials after Thanksgiving. I remember each Sunday for about 3-4 weeks before Christmas checking out the ad. Lots of those deals were better than BF deals.

This is a regular sale, not blitz. Regular sales usually begin at midnight if the store is open 24 hours. The blitz items for Black Friday will not be available for purchase until the specified time in the ad. This is 2 separate sales events.

My Target had the dollar spot for 50% off too, but it was all girl stuff. I needed boy stuff for Halloween goodie bags.

Toys R Us has the XPV for $49.99. Target had them for $69.99 plus the battery. It does bite to spend an additional $30 for the battery pack. We bought the extended replacement warranty for $4.99 which covers it for a year. If it doesn't work out after the normal time for a return with the receipt, we'll just get the money back from the replacement plan. DS likes the fact it goes on land and in the air. Time will tell.......

I think we got spoiled last year when the ball got rolling early. I can't make a judgement on KMART until I see the ad. I am having trouble visualizing some of the items. I usually go there on Thanksgiving, then again on Black Friday(after walmart of course):)

I am on here WAY too often. Usually several times every day. My husband thinks I am crazy, but in a good way. He is more addicted to black friday shopping than most women. He has been hounding me for the last 2 weeks about the ads.

I am clueless when it comes to these things, but now I want one for mysel fafter all the research I have done.

My store is a superstore and they don't close. I usually get there around 3:00 and gather my stuff to pricematch and scope out the blitz items. I am usually out of there within 30-45 minutes after the sale starts.

My husband and I always go to Walmart first. If we get pressed for time, one of us waits in line, then the other goes on ahead to Radio Shack. Last year, he was back before I even got through the check out.

My husband and I usually go first thing in the morning when Kmart opens. We go to Big Lots after that. This is our a.m turkeyday tradition. We also usually hear tidbits about what other people are going for on black friday.

My all-time favorite Movies are Christmas Vacation and The Christmas Story. The cd's I listen to the most are the "NOW that's what I call Christmas" ones. I like them because they have the more traditional along with up to date songs. I also love Trans Siberian Orchastra.

I usually wear jeans, my old ratty tennis shoes (because the ratty ones are always the most comfortable), and a t-shirt under a sweatshirt/light jacket. I leave the big coat in the car. Money/credit cards in pockets and ads in hand.

I pm all the time at walmart. They are usually very friendly. I am a pricematching fool, especially during the holidays.

It really depends on what they have, but the most popular at my house is Walmart, Best Buy, and Target. I am a pricematching fool, so most all the ads go with me to Walmart.
