I love it. I've had it for years. I abuse the heck out of it. Before I go anywhere I check amazon. If they have the same price or a little more I buy it on Amazon. It saves me gas and I have my stuff in 2 days, so unless it's something I need right away, I buy from Amazon.
My son has food allergies and eats special foods. I get them in bulk from Amazon much cheaper than the health food store. I have 4 family members on my plan and all have offered to chip in for the cost of the plan but I save so much money with it I don't care.

Since you have one (or two) in hand, do you know if it would work to project a computer? The only output I saw on the pic was the red, white, yellow AV cable like for TVs.....I need one for the computer so the class can see what I am doing on powerpoint. Thanks
I have no idea. The one I have here is wrapped and the other is on it's way from Amazon. I doubt it works with a computer. It is a toy and not a high quality projector

This was $19.99 2 days ago and went back up. I would put it in your cart and watch it. I bought it for $59.99 on Black Friday as a Lightning deal. Just ordered another for $19.99 and am returning the other one . Even with return postage I am WAY ahead!!!

They were out of the Star Theater here (I saw it on the sign with the Moon in My Room) and I was going to go to the other Aldi's in town the next day but when I got home and looked it up to see what it was it had really bad reviews so I decided not to get the Star Theater. Moon in My Room has good reviews.
The star theater is horrible. Even in a pitch black room, on a table, you could barely see anything. we returned ours last year the same day we opened it

They had this and the rainbow in my room for around $19 on Amazon a while back. I debated and debated and waited too long and missed out.

Our must haves were an extra remote and nunchuck. The charging base for the remotes and the rechargeable battery for the wii fit. If I remember correctly you charge it by plugging into the back of the wii unit. Its been a while since we've had to charge it

Am I just ignorant concerning deals with laptops or did other laptop deals, such as the Vaio deal, seem juicier to other consumers? I was primarily looking for an entertainment laptop to take with me to South Korea when I go in January to teach ESL. This looks to fit the bill nicely. Thanks!
Good luck with the Korea trip. My brother in law did that last year. They guaranteed him a year and that he'd come home with some certification to teach ESL here in the states. Come August they told him they didn't need him anymore, sent him packing, didn't finish the year so no certificate.

We've owned nothing but HP in this house for the past 14 years. Never a problem.
It takes 10 minutes to make your own boot discs when you get a new comuter. Nothing major, and even if you get a set with the computer they recommend you make a backup set anyway.

I personally wouldn't buy a laptop with the AMD Athlon. I wouldn't buy anything without a Quad core or a Duo 2 core.
I just finally gave up on BF laptops and went to HP and built one for my husband. With shipping and tax, minus an instant rebate and a $20 coupon code the total was $600. For me, the extra $102 over the Acer is worth it just to have the Duo 2 core processor. Other than that and the video card (better on the HP) the specs are pretty much the same as the Acer listed. I also like that with the HP I can lightscribe label all my DVDs/CDs.

You'd probably have to hit the $200 mark, because of the price of the DS. I'm sure they ar prepared for people buying a DS and a pack of gum. Anything over $100 is probably excluded from your total.

I'd go for the DSi. If her friends get one and she sees what they can do with the pictures, she's going to want a DSi. It comes with 5 games pre-installed so you'd have to buy less games to go with it. It's the more updated version at a great price!

that's a huge difference in storage space. I probably would never buy anything with 16GB of storage. The media cards I used in my camera 8GB, couldn't imagine a computer with only 16GB.
