  1. Hi there from Norman,Ok (GOOOOOOOOOOOOO SOONERS)

    I have a 43 yr old son:responsible for granddaughter #2 Morgan

and a 29 yr old daughter responsible for granddaughter #1 Everlee. My kids are 14 1/2 yrs apart and my grandgirls are 6 WEEKS apart. (Quess which one was an accident! :eyepoppin

I have gone on Black Friday rampages for 6 years. Each year I say "not this one" but then I read the excitement on these forums and it gets me pumped up and I find myself "needing" sooo many things  I love this Black friday forum and enjoy reading and contributing all year long to Gottadeal.com Thanks for making me laugh and saving me lots of money (altho I dont really save I just get 3 times as much :D

  2. I noticed something weird today. I bought some College 08 stuff for 75% off over the weekend at the Target nearest me. They had a whole double aisle of stuff and people were going pretty crazy. Went today and they had moved the leftover items to the endcap and marked them 50% off. WTH? I even scanned an item I bought for 75% off and it was now 50% off. The only stuff that was still 75% off was the Sami Hayek sets. I guess timing is everything.

Found some more nice rugs for 75% off including a 5x7 area rug for about $30 and a washable 3x5 nonslip area rug for $5 :eyepoppin

They might have set it back to 50% off getting ready to salvage it. I know they do strange things sometimes. I have experienced the same thing at times!

  3. Okay. Spongebob camera for less than $5. You really shouldn't expect much anyway. Its cheaper than a disposable camera and if the kids have fun with it, who cares about the quality of the pics. And if it breaks, I'm sure we have all "thrown" away $5 on something not worth it. I am giving this to my son for his birthday, along with other items that should make him really happy!

Thats exactly how I feel. I am giving it to the neighbor's son for Christmas. He is only 5 but loves to act like a BIG BOY and take pictures. The quality isnt that great I am sure but it will be fun for him to learn on his own and if he uses it for a few weeks and then decides its not fun anymore.. it was $5.00!!! (A digital camera for $19.99 cant have too high of expectations)hahahaha!
  4. ### Spongebob Digital camera reg $19.99 for $4.98

    ### Npower Dora Diego 7" digital photo frame reg. $74.99 $18.48

    ### StoryReader cartridges and books reg $19.99 for $4.98

    ### Kindergarten & 1st grade activity books reg. $9.99 for $2.87

They had tons of color books, wonder books, activity books,American Girl activity books. These were over where the DVDS and Movies were.

  5. FINALLY 08 WENT 75%. And things are flying off the shelves. The associates were getting rather "testy" because people were almost taking the items out of their hands as they were marking them. Beautiful 6 1/2ft x 10ft rugs regularly $229.00 for $54.45 (Daughter grabbed it) others as low at $9.99 didnt get the dcpi.. sorry. King bed in bags reg $119.00 for $29.99 . the HSM and Hannah Montana beach towels $2.48.
  6. i noticed the same today at mt target.I know there should have been a lot of crayola stuff but to my surprise the whole BTS stuff was shrunk to a small section.just wondering where the stuff went??

I noticed the same thing and asked one of the associates that was marking them down. She said that it had already sold. I KNOW thats not true because they had tons yesterday. Maybe they figured it would be a better tax writeoff. There is tons of stuff on sale right now tho. Towels, rugs, bathroom sets, all the 08 stuff is 50% off. Cinderella bedding 30% off. Dollar spot was 50% off on blue dots. Great stuff for teachers.
  7. so, got an email from paypal that the seller has now agreed to refund if I send them back, but have to be there by the 24th (all the way across the country). So I priority mailed it with insurance and delivery confirmation- $19!!! Oh well, I guess I will have to eat that, but that kind of stinks since I am returning because the product is broken, not that I just changed my mind or something

I think you will get your original shipping costs refund too. At least I did when I won a paypal claim. I didnt get the shipping cost to return it but they refunded the full amount of the original cost. Good luck!!!!!!

Well you should get the full refund including the shipping you paid to send it back. At least I did when I won a claim on a defective item. They didnt pay me the return postage but they did refund the full amount I paid including the shipping on the original cost.
  9. Has anyone used this? They are having a pretty good promotion right now where you can get $20 off $100 or more video game purchase and my son wants a DS lite and I can get one for $109 with this deal. I was just wondering if anyone has used it and how exactly it works. I have the money, I just want to $20 off.

Anyone out there tried this yet?

I use it at Christmas time also. I have never had trouble with it. If you pay it off before the deadline there is no interest or surcharges. They also give you discount coupons during the year to persuade you to buy more. :cheesy::cheesy:
  10. Ok guys... when you are scoping the 75% off Dollar Spots watch for the Hanna Montana and the HighSchool Musical lip glosses. They have red dots on them. They were not there yesterday so I am thinking they are probably going to be Christmas stuff (they usually have either red or gree dots) and they were put out early. Anyways, I took it to the checkout and asked them if these were discounted and she said "if its red dot then its 75% off". They are really cute!!!
  11. I bought speakers for my husbands motorcycle last month for our anniversary from a seller on Ebay. The speakers arrived and do not work correctly- they are staticky and distorted and sound terrible. The previous speakers did not sound like this, my husband just wanted nicer ones. So I contacted the seller about it and asked them to call my husband and speak to him about it. Of course, they told me to email a different person (their parts guy). So I did. He proceeds to tell me that out of thousands of pairs of these speakers they have only had 3 problems ever. Okay, well, that is still 3 problems. Then they tell me to check the compatibility of my stereo- which is a stock Harley-Davidson stereo- you cannot get any more compatible than that. Now they will not respond to me. So I put in a dispute that I will return the speakers and I want a refund. The seller had the gall to up it to a claim and wants Paypal to decide the outcome! Hello- speakers don't work!!! I even offered in the beginning to exchange them, didnt even ask for a refund. This is so ridiculous.

I forgot to add- I am supposed to return the speakers within 10 days now, but I still might not get my $$ back depending on the outcome of the Paypal investigation?

If you paid with a credit card then call your credit card company and put in a claim. They will stop the payment and if you say the product was broken they will not pay the invoice. My son did this once on a stereo..his credit card company retracted the payment until there was proof that the money was returned to him (which gave him time to return the stereo)

  12. I went to the Super Target in Smyrna, TN last night and they had two of the Playdoh craft caddies...they rang up $4.74. There was 1 left when I left last night.

Also the dollar spot still had quite a bit left at 50%. I picked up some of the Phonics books and flash cards for my little one. Anyone know when the dollar spot will go 75%?

According to one of the Target employees it will be going to 75% tomorrow (thursday)
