  1. I tell my 5yo ds that he is getting a a bratz doll house and a cute smores pony. He yells he is a boy and offers to "show" you.

When I was a kid we would always find our gifts early. So one year we found heavy gifts we had not seen. After much excitement my parents said we had to open them at time. They got the camera ready to "take our pics to see our surprise". They were giant ROCKS!

  2. That sounds really nice but that is what we are doing tonight (kinda, no third person). It is our sixth anniversary and I am a redhead;) . He is in to online video games, he play final fanasty online. He is not into sports or racing. He does read alot. He likes r.a. salvotor (don't think I spelled it right). He is just as spoiled as my son but I work two jobs in the summer to get most of what he has got. Plus I got alot of it used, but they still love it. So I am stumped. I know he should be think about something really nice to get me but I feel gulity when he does. He got me a PSP at full price and I made him take it back. I then bought a used one on craigllist. I am just that way, but I want something that will knock his socks off. Is that just to hard to do?
  3. We are finally fiancial better off so I can afford something nice. My husband has a top of the line computer, new dvd/vcr, mini- fridge, a ps2, xbox, a big screen ( I did side work to get most). He is already getting a new electric razor, a very nice computer chair, and a new robe and pj pants. We agreed on three presents under the tree but I want to really surprise him. I have thought xbox 360 - says he does need it, ps3- won't play much, more games- has too many, clothes- too many, and dvds- we have blockbuster online. He is a hard core gamer, some new ideas would be great. I am about the buy him a case of full throtle and stick a box on it!
  4. My two cents, Oreck (my fav) has a thing called an orbiter. They clean carpets and buff floors and tile. It is basically a orbital spinning pad that clean the carpet. It does not use water it dry carpet cleans. Go to an oreck store and they will let you try it out. They don't weight to much and are way easy to use. They start at $299 for a three year warranty or the best one $499 with a ten year warranty. They work wonders! I have a side job that I clean carpets and pressure wash, so I have tried every brand and love the Oreck brand the best.
  5. How about today when I went to a store 20 miles today and saw those tyson meal kits for 5.98. So when I got to my local store with my two dollar coupon, they rang up 8.98 and 10.98. I said something you know what they said. Their stupid matra "we don't compete with ourself" They said bring them another store ad and they will match that. I pointed out that they are the only sold at walmart, they gave me a blank look. They had already scanned my coupon and would not give them back. So I purchased them at the register and walked to the customer service desk and got a refund on the full price. So I actually made a four dollar profit. So screw them!
  6. There is another great deal in the book. The breeze 2 is 9.99 and there is a 50.00 coupon plus a mail in rebate. So free plus 9.99 back is good. I have had problems with getting them to take the coupon. They said the will only apply it to the meter but not the entire purchase. That is okay but many store "say" they don't have them but I find them on the shelves. Did anyone else notice that the limit is five? That means one hundred dollars. I have two card (mine and husbands), so $200 at cvs for BF.
  7. I teach 8th thru 12th grade and asked them they question. There are their responses:

Axe gift sets ($10 -12 axe body spray, body wash, etc and a devil ducky)

razor set (ha ha they think they need it)

    Tooth tunes ($7- $10)

    Clothes

    LOTS of them said this

Hoodies, hot topic shirts or any tshirt with something funny written on it, Jean (really they think a new pair of jeans is like a new suit), Cargo pants, cool caps and knit caps

    New sneakers

Cool backpacks (especially one with mp3 pockets)

Real Leather wallet (you can find them for about $20)

    Games

    God of war ($20)ps2

Guitar hero -any of them (bundles with guitars for about $70)

    Halo 3

    wireless controllers

    tomb raider

    books

eldest (the second book in the eragon series)

    wheel of time series

    Werid things

a pizza/ game party for him and friends

    Cube worlds

    starbucks gift cards ?

    limewire pro membership

    xbox live membership

    movie passes

    a movie night gift basket

That is what about 50 kids came up with.

  8. Oreck stores can fix them fast. I have a ten year old oreck I got in exchange for some work and thought it would void the warranty. They said it didn't matter. They completey took it apart and cleaned and fixed it. The only thing they charged me for is a part the was badly broken and it was 10.00. While if you buy a dyson you have to mail it off to get fixed and they can keep it for serveral weeks to months. I fix vacuum as a side job and my best advice is get the oreck fixed or get a new one (the prices have gone down). I have owned a dyson animal and sold it for another oreck!!!
