  1. I understand the frustration with this, as I too was unable to get this and when I tried to find one I was told by the CS guy they are not PMing the door buster deals from that TRU ad. Though I don't think I would personally gone through everything you went through, I mean really .49 for the alphabet pal is just a crazy price (I bet it costs more than that to make). We are trying to get these with a technicality on them not posting the rules for customers. Still these are at a reasonable price after coupon anyway. I shop Target a ton and get all types of deals there, I know I will get many more deals there especially on BF as well. I look at it as don't sweat the small stuff and this is a small stuff thing. But again I think changes to the posted PM rules need to be public. Contacting the Attorney General is a good way to go about it, and will contact mine as well to report the issues with the Target PM policy posting.
  2. I am wondering about the DSi deal going. So you get a $20 gc for the DSi, but then do you get the $10 gc for spending over $100 too? Any ideas?
  3. You saw that Target has the DSi for $10 more but you get a $20 gift card too? Think I am getting the DSi there.
  4. Apart from the ad not being that good, I have a rhetorical question but come up with ideas if you wish. How the heck are they going to pull out the 5am door busters? I mean the employees are going to be busy enough without having to worry about bringing/opening more stuff. Seems like it will be CRAZY around 5am. Thanks Brad for the hard work to help us all save money.
  5. Seriously what is the big deal? I have never or ever pick up vouchers/tickets just to sell to other people. But who cares what other people do with theirs? Really if I want something that is a "hot ticket item" then I will try and get there earlier than others, if not oh well I tried, and there are other items that I am getting at that store too, the first store has the items I want most and more than one item I want too. I never plan on getting everything I want at some of the stores and look up different places I can get it at or a similar item. As long as there are people willing to buy these tickets there will be sellers. Also if someone offers to sell me a ticket of something I really really wanted and it still would be cheaper than any other place/time I might buy it. It is like paying for their time in line, if it saves me being there 3+ hrs waiting in line then I don't think I would mind. Also considering it gets really cold every BF here.
  6. Is it just me thinking No Hannah Montana here ever? I watched her show once and didn't like it at all. I also say no Bratz either. They dress them to raunchy sometimes. A big one for all other parents at one time or another. No Stuffed Animals. No Heelys. Nothing against them as I am sure I would have wanted them as a kid too. But my DD is still to young for those and I want to make sure she will understand and follow rules when wearing them.

  8. A few years back I had 3 different stores I wanted to be at first thing. I went to Circuit City. My dad went to Toys R Us, his friends went to Target. We all had things we wanted at each store so we swapped lists for the stores and were calling each other while waiting. In Colorado the weather is always cold on Black Friday so I dress in layers and when making my rounds peel them off between stores. Well that morning was extremely cold and I talked to my mom, so about an hour after getting there my mom showed up with hot chocolate and a blanket. It may sound dumb but I really felt happy that my family was helping out too (even on a really cold morning), it made things easier for all of us. Though now my dad lives in a different state now. But every Black Friday my mom meets me and brings hot chocolate. Gotta love moms.

  14. You know last year was the first time I went to WM for my first store. I was pregnant and literally about to pop and I kinda got mad that when they opened the doors people from their cars started walking up and getting in before we even got to the doors. Now I was ticked off, had I known that would happen I would have stayed in my car until they opened the doors. Anyone else had this problem at WM or anywhere else?
