I've been looking at buying this too for the same reason. Not sure if this is what you are looking for, but Amazon has it for $84.99. Check it out. Is it for multiusers? http://www.amazon.com/Microsoft-Office-Home-Student-2007/dp/B000HCZ8EO/ref=pd_ecc_rvi_cart_1

Ok! I finally broke down and bought it. I had held out all day, but kept reading the posts. I thought for sure that it would sell out before I got to this point. Oh well, one more thing for Christmas! Thanks for the post. -

Great Idea!!!! I just got them for my sports fanic son, too. They'll be great in his sports room. Too bad they don't have baseball ones. Thanks for the original post about these! -
Thank you! Thank you! I found the software only for $11.91 when I was debating whether to buy the Buzz Jr. Game with controllers. We already have the Buzz game/controllers and love it. It was a little too hard for my DS8 to play, so I have always wanted the Jr. version. It's great to get it at such a great price! Now we can have a neighborhood contest with the kids this summer.

End of school year teacher present ideas?
sgigi replied to katiesmommy01's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
When I taught preschool my favorite gifts were pads of paper and Christmas ornaments. To this day, I love decorating my tree with these special ornaments and remembering the children who gave them to me. My kids even like hearing stories of past students. The pads of paper were great for those never ending notes to parents or thank yous. A pen and a special decorated pad of paper is always handy. Just some ideas. -
What do I look for (dishwasher)
sgigi replied to mom2monkiesx3's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I just brought a new dishwasher about a month ago. Our old one had the motor rust to the point where it won't work. I had the repair guy out to look at it and he said to just replace it. I asked him when he was here what his opinions were. He suggested either a Maytag or a whirlpool/Kenmore. When I reviewed the comments online about the brands, I found that Maytag had more issues for repair. He said not to get Bosch because the parts and the units are hard to replace. I ended up going to Lowe's (get installation and they take the old one) because they price match. I brought a Whirlpool. It has delay start, whisper quiet noise function, energy star rated, sani-rinse (I'm big on this), the silverware is in the door, the top and bottom rack adjust up or down to make room for larger items, and it had fold down covers for part of the silverware container to trap small objects. I love it!!! It doesn't have a stainless steel tub, but the model up from it does. I just couldn't see playing $200 more for it. They also had a deal that I am not sure if it is still available that you got an even larger discount when buying one or two additional whirlpool applicances. If you are interested in the exact model I can find my folder with everything. Just let me know. Oh, and yes it comes in stainless steel exterior or white. Good Luck! -
Insulated Lunch Bag/tote - Any Recommendations??
sgigi replied to txmomma's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
txmomma, if you don't find any at Sears, make sure you call Lands End at Sears. You will receive free shipping by doing this! They will still ship it to your home, but you won't pay to have it shipped. I guess if they don't have it at the Sears store than you get free shipping. It won't work if you call from home though. Just another suggestion! -
Insulated Lunch Bag/tote - Any Recommendations??
sgigi replied to txmomma's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I brought these this year and love them! They are the CleanSweep Solid ClassMate™ Lunch Box from Lands End. They are $19.50, but you may find them clearanced at Sears. Either way, they are worth the twenty bucks. They have a pouch for the ice pack and a firm build so the ice pack doesn't smush the sandwich. It is easy to clean. There is plenty of room for food and drink. It also has a front pouch in case you need to send a snack too. I have brought ones from LL Bean and hated them. These have lasted and held up beautifully. They also clip on the outside of the backpack for easy carrying and they don't get lost. http://www.landsend.com/pp/CleanSweepClassMateLunchBox-76439_146380_-1.html?CM_MERCH=PGGT_0000007907 http://s7.landsend.com/is/image/LandsEnd/180105_A607_LF_LKB? -
Looking for a backpack for 9 yr old
sgigi replied to meatball05's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I have brought my boys the LandsEnd Backpacks and they hold us so well! You can find them in the Sears store. If they do not have them in the store, you can call LandsEnd at Sears to receive free shipping. We have the top loading backpack and they look new even after two years of use (and my boys are rough on them). Well worth the money. -
Thanks for posting the link and picture. I was so excited to find the deal. I forgot to put the rest of the information. Sorry!

I'm sure that it will drive me nuts, too, but my DS8 has started a collection of rubber chickens. Last year at easter he got the rubber chicken that lays an egg when you squeeze it and he got the slingshot chicken for Christmas. He was saying the other day that he couldn't wait to see what chicken the Easter Bunny would bring. I then realized that I haven't found a chicken yet! This one looks like it will drive his older brother nuts, so it may be worth finding.

Thanks all I'll have to check these places out.

Amazon.com has Webkinz that ship free with Prime
sgigi replied to Fishboysmom's topic in Online Hot Deals
I ordered the seal last night with free shipping with prime, but it won't be delivered until April 2-9. Not in time for Easter, but I will save it for First Communion, I guess. Still a good deal, if you don't need it right away. -
Has anyone seen "The Crazy Cluck Chicken" that flaps and waddles around while doing the "Chicken Dance," clucking and flapping his wings in sync with the melody? I am looking for it at a store rather than the internet. Shipping is too high. I have a son who collects chickens and he would die for one of these. Thanks for any help! http://ecx.images-amazon.com/images/I/41YLI5c51nL._AA280_.jpg

My shipping was $4.99. When I factored in the shipping, the items came to about $2 each. Still at $2, this is a good deal for the CD. We have tons of boys at my house and are always singing "Greasy Grimey Gopher Guts" and "Everybody Hates Me songs". It will be a funny item to give and have the songs on CD. We also argue over what are the right words to the songs, so this will end this dispute.

Kohls has a Rex Grossman jersey on sale for $18. He's not high on our family's list of favorite players, but thought I would let you know. I have purchased bears jerseys at Lids, Jr. store. They sometimes have sales if you watch. I have never ordered on online for jerseys except Kohls. Hope this helps.

LEGO BRICKMASTER?? Anyone have it?
sgigi replied to sneakers1234's topic in Deal Finder & Deal Discussion
I purchased it last year for my DS for his birthday. He loved getting his lego package every two months. The brickmaster magazine was very different and had cooler things in it than the free magazine. He wanted me to renew again this year and still asks about it. My problem was that the sets were really small at first. I would guess they cost about $3-$5. Towards the end of the subscription they changed and we started receiving the $5.99 sets you can buy in the stores. I did see that they were now sending out exclusive sets only for brickmaster. I have been waiting for a few months to see if they change anything else. I never used the $5 coupons or the admission ticket. Was not happy with it, but they seem to be changing the things I had issues with. Hope this helps! -
