Tried to get a price adjustment on 11/11 sears family and friends night for the sharp 46" LCD. I was told by salesman that because it was a timed sale I would not be able to get adjusted even though I came in that morning 5-12. I would be weary about making any purchase before bf unless you get some conformation from a manager at your local sears. However, just a quick note. I went in that night to get the 46" sharp and salesman told me it was regular price and that all I would get is 150 off and 5%. When in actuality I could have gotten it for less that bf price if I had only had the salesman scan the tv in the register. That just goes to show you how much the salesman new about ff night and the prices of their tv's. So don't take my word for it, or any salesman for that matter. Good luck! :yuck:

Aloha guys and gals, Just a friendly reminder. Be aware that standard definition on this set is terrible. Unless you have HDTV I would reconsider. I really wanted this set and went by local CC yesterday. I asked rep to switch to analog settings and it was nasty. I would strongly recommend you check it out before waiting in line for this set. CC is Definitely not better than BB. CC never has anything in stock, unless your one of the first five people in line. BB list a minimum quantity on hand and in fact at my BB have had more that the minimum. Last year I walked into my BB here in Hawaii one hour after opening and they still had door buster items in stock. I waited in line for CC last year and got nothing. I tried asking a clerk and all I got was, "we're all out." I would rather play the odds and go to BB. See you all in line! '

That's just not fair game for everyone. You should be physically there to hold your own spot and not show up before the sale starts. That's a bunch of BS. See you all in line:)

I'm a former employee of a wal-mart and seen it all. I've seen people get trampled. One year, I experienced a brawl in a wal-mart sore. Two people were fighting over a bike! Talk about ghetto...People would go to the sporting goods dept. take a sleeping bag out of the packaging and sleep in line while waiting. The great part about shopping on black friday is the wonderful people you meet.
