Does anyone have any suggestions for Kinects games for DS9 and DS12? I throught there was a thread on here about that.

yea that might be it. My kids are getting a kinect (DS9 and DS12) and I will need some good games. With the bad reviews I am not sure this would be good for them. I have no clue what Kinects games to get

still waiting to see what will happen with store times and sales. Then I will have to figure out which sales are the most important.

I made him sit down and list 5 - 10 vidoe games he wanted. He just bought an xbox this summer so he does not have many games. He will not get 5-10, but I wanted options and for him not to know exactly what he was getting. We also went shopping. He is just not starting to pick out his clothes that he likes and not depend so much on what I pick for him. I got a good idea of the style he likes. Love the telescope idea. He has wanted one for a while and I had forgetten about that.

WE love pin trading. We did this for the first time in 08 and have had 2 other opportunities to go back and the boys take their Lanyards and trade. My youngest has managed to collect all the stick figure pins. (or at least all he thinks are avalible) We gave our kids Disney for Christmas a few years ago. We left 20 days after Christams and gave them a big gift with lots of small open me'ss as their countdown presents. They opened one a day. They got lots of new pins to trade.

Yea.. he is pretty good. I think I will keep him. Grandparents are getting teh kinect. DH and I think we will go for the laptop. Same issue here.. he has to use the slow family computer. His xbox live membership ends in November, but I think he has saved enought money to buy the next 12 months. We really encourage him saving money for things like that so he knows it is not free. He had a roblox membership forever and I do not think he ever realized that we were paying $6.00 a month for that until here recently when we got rid of it. We are telling family members Xbox live points and itunes gift cards.

Not a stupid question at all, but yes I did ask him. He is one of these kids that just does not say a lot. He said.. you know I would be happy with anything. Right now he is really into the xbox. He just saved up enough money to buy one over the summer. I know I am going to get some accessories for that. I think I am going to focus on his room like he asked. A cool desk. Mabe a black light with some cool posters. He is into science and technology so maybe a laptop for sure. Most years I know exactly what to get. This year has been hard becasue not only do I not know, but everything I think of is expensive...

Thanks for the input. He does have an ipod touch, but it is an older model. We might upgrade that. We are also thinking a new TV for both the boys (8 and 12) for their TV room. Trying to avoid TV in their room for a while longer since hey have the TV room that is pretty much all theirs.

My son is 12 and is so hard to buy for. I used to be able to get him legos and know he would be thrilled. He has recently given all his lego's to his younger brother. I know I will be getting him some vidoe games, but am looking for some other ideas. He has a phone, but does not use it much at all. He is not overly social and really likes to do things on his own rather than a group of friends. It is making it so hard to buy anything for him. He does want some cool decorations for his room. any ideas?

You may want to look on ebay for Disney pins and Lanyards. They can trade pins while at Disney. My boys love doing this!~ It is much cheaper to get them started by getting the pins on e-bay then buying the started kits.

I have been following this thread. I ordered the Hasbro Game Night 3. I know not the best of reviews, but my family loves these games and this was on their list. I received the game today (it now has an upcharge, but I was able to get the set for the original price $35.00) I just got shipping notice on the remotes. I think I might be returning it. Not sure yet.

We arrived at Walmart in Wilmington NC about 10:00 PM. people were filling their carts with the midnight sale stuff. We grabed the few items we wanted and passes them to my sister so we could go wait at Target. She was told about 11 that she could not have the items in her cart yet. Everyone had items in their cart. She checked out at 12:00 and was done. We arrived at Target at 10:30pm. We were 24th in line. The first in line had arrived at 6:20. Everyone was after the 298 40 inch TV. They had about 70. The crowed went way long this year. longer than I had seen it in the past.

Walmart!!! I can not and will not shop at Wal-mart on BF! I can deal with pretty much any other store.

We did this at Target last year and may do it again this year. You just have to make sure it is indeed the same item they are selling.

I am looking for either the DSI or DSiXL. I know the price will not drop much from the original price so I am looking for good bundle deals.

I go to Target every year and they are super organized. I really like the way everything works there. Good luck making your decision, but if you like Targets ad better do not worry too much. They even hand out maps!

There is something I need that is a 10PM door buster and something for the 5AM door buster... UGH>>>> All in all I like the ad. Now that my boys are growing up I do not need so many little toys.... Now I am waiting on Best Buy. I do not do Walmart!

Family game night and the cooking basket are always winners at our school. Oh and Ice cream sunday basket. Ice cream soup, bowls and all the toppings needed for Ice cream. That one scored big at our last function.

Kannapolis NC... nothing here. It was dead! No body around. I did see several people come in and look .. once they say it was not 75% they left.
