  1. I always stick with the garmin brand because they're the best known and the GPS are user friendly. The Nuvi 255 has text to speech and is on Amazon for 109.99.
  2. It doesn't speak street names. So instead of saying "In 0.2 miles, turn left on Main Street" it'll just say "In 0.2 miles, turn left".
  3. I think Radio Shack has the cheapest price: $119.99.
  4. I may have to take back what I said here. I don't know if it's temporary or what, but the prices of GPSs on amazon keep dropping like a rock. Now you can get a new nuvi 255 for $109.99. Ugh I hate having to make choices....

    DSI

Even though those games work best on the DSi, I still don't think it's worth it to upgrade.

    DSI

I upgraded from the DS to DSi and I think it's not worth it. The novelty of the camera wears off after a few days. Just use your cell phone to take pictures and your ipod to listen to music (btw the music is grainy sounding on the DSi since it can't play mp3 files) The internet is very slow on it and most of the DSiware games are boring.
  7. I'm liking the Garmin nuvi 255W for $129.99 at Dell's Black Friday sale. Spoken street names, ecoroute, speed limit indicator, wide screen, etc. For some reason Dell gift certificates sell for a lot lower than they're worth on ebay, so I picked up a $120 gift certificate for $90. Best of all the sale is online. P.S. Garmin just released their newest map update yesterday.
  8. Wow! I'm surprised a computer that old can even access the internet!
  9. Is the $200 laptop really awful? The blu-ray player on the last page says it streams netflix. What does that mean exactly? As long as you subscribe to netflix you can stream it for free? Like the Roku player? Here is the PDF: http://www.blackfridayvip.com/scans/GottaDeal-WalMart.pdf
  10. As long as you can pay it off each month no reason not to use a credit card. I get 5% cash back with Amex.
  11. Your first map update is free, as long as you register the GPS online within 60 days of first turning it on. After that there is a fee for the updates, either $50ish for one update or $120 for lifetime updates. As far as other GPS models, I dont know about anything other than Garmin.
  12. Is the $15 Garmin friction mount compatible with the nuvi255W?
  13. I don't think you can get the staples one online because it's a doorbuster.
  14. I like the garmin deal too. Anyone know if there are coupon codes you can use for BF?
  15. Great deal! I don't have $40 in coins, so I'm gonna go to the bank and exchange my bills for some coinage.
  16. Does Staples still give you $3 off for each printer cartridge you bring in? Also, since you can get coupons like $20 off $100 on eBay, there's no reason to use the 10% coupon in the BF ad because you can't use 2 coupons at the same time, right? Do you think the nuvi255w will be available online?
  17. Doesn't work on gift cards. Darn this is a good deal but I dont see anything I really want from BB.
  18. I like the commercial where the snowman comes inside the house from the cold, snowy outside, then sits down, eats some Campbell's soup, and melts into a kid
  19. Thanks racerfan that Amazon deal is very tempting. Does the $10 video game credit have an expiration date?
  20. My McDonalds had no idea what I was talking about when I asked about the coupon books.
